Location

The Pestana Alvor Beach Villas are part of the Pestana Dom Joao II Beach & Golf Resort, located directly on the sandy beach "Praia de Alvor", and were largely renovated in 2024/2025. The town center is only about 1 km away. Further shopping and entertainment facilities are located in the port city of Portimao, about 7 km away. Faro International Airport is approximately 70 km away.

The spacious 4-star holiday complex features 44 villas. Facilities include a reception area with a 24-hour reception, lounge bar, elevators, buffet restaurant with terrace, bar & conference room. The complex is surrounded by a well-kept garden with a seawater swimming pool, children's pool, and sun terrace. Sunbeds, umbrellas, and mattresses are included. There is a beach bar on the beach. Sunbeds here are available for a fee.

The renovated villas (1 bedroom) are approximately 35 m² and feature a bathroom with a bathtub/toilet, hairdryer, living area with a sofa bed, separate bedroom with two single beds (twin), air conditioning, safe, cable TV (LCD TV), Wi-Fi (included), kitchenette (with ceramic hob, refrigerator, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, and kettle), dining table, chairs, and a balcony or terrace with garden view (V2).

The villas (2 bedrooms), with the same amenities as the villas (1 bedroom), are more spacious at approximately 54 m² and feature two separate bedrooms with one double bed and two single beds (V22).

Villa (3 Bedrooms)

The villas (3 bedrooms), with the same amenities as the villas (1 bedroom), are more spacious at approximately 100 m² and feature three separate bedrooms with single or double beds (V3).

Superior Villa (2 Bedrooms)

The renovated Superior Villas (2 bedrooms) are approximately 69 m² and, with the same amenities as the villas (1 bedroom), feature 2 separate bedrooms (1 double bed and 2 single beds) and 2 bathrooms (2VE).

Premium Villa (2 Bedrooms)

The Premium Villas, with the same amenities as the Superior Villas (2 bedrooms), are more spacious at approximately 89 m² (2VP).

Arrival by car

Directions from Faro Airport (FAO):
Follow the road west for approx. 140 m. After approx. 750 m, turn left onto the N125-10. In the next roundabout, take the second exit towards N125-10. After approx. 600 m, the road turns right onto the ramp towards "Loulé/Lisbon/Portimao". You are now on the IC4. At the upcoming fork, keep left and stay on this road (IC4). After about 56 km, merge onto the A22 via the ramp towards "Lisbon/Portimão/Albufeira". Take exit 4 towards EM531-1 and continue onto the A22 Acessos. In the next roundabout, take the second exit towards EM531-1 towards "Estr. ontes de Alvor". You continue on the A22 and keep going towards EM531-1/Estr. Montes de Alvor. You will then reach "Rua Serpa Pinto". In Alvor, enter a roundabout and take the 1st exit towards "Rossio Grande". After approx. 450 m, turn right, then left after 170 m, and left again after 80 m. After a slight left curve, you have reached the hotel.

Directions from Lisbon Airport (LIS):
Follow the road northeast for approx. 14 m. Then turn right onto "Avenue Berlim". After approx. 62 m, turn left and stay on "Avenue Berlim". You will reach a roundabout and turn left onto "Avenida Cidade do Porto" (signposted A1/A8/A12). Exit at E01 and re-enter at exit 14 towards "A12/Sul/Ponte Vasco da Gama". This runs parallel to the IC17. From here, continue to the A12 (partially with motorway tolls). Leave the motorway at IP1 (signs for Évora) and merge back onto the A2. After approx. 202 km, take exit 15 to reach the A22 towards "Lagos/Portimão/Albufeira". After another 34 km, take exit 4 towards EM531-1 and reach the A22 Acessos. In the next roundabout, take the second exit towards EM531-1 towards "Estr. ontes de Alvor". You continue on the A22 and keep going towards EM531-1/Estr. Montes de Alvor. You will then reach "Rua Serpa Pinto". In Alvor, enter a roundabout and take the 1st exit towards "Rossio Grande". After approx. 450 m, turn right, then left after 170 m, and left again after 80 m. After a slight left curve, you have reached the hotel.
