Location

The Hotel Harfenwirt is situated in a beautiful panoramic location at approx. 828 m altitude, about 800 m from the village center with shopping facilities. For those who want to enjoy the scenic beauty of the region during active hikes, a widely branched network of trails with a total length of around 40 km, including the popular Auenweg trail, is available right by the hotel. Further excursion destinations in summer include the public outdoor swimming pool Wildschönau Oberau (approx. 3 km), Markbachjochbahn cable car (approx. 700 m), or a summer toboggan run about 3 km away.

Facilities

The family-friendly 3-star Hotel Harfenwirt offers 90 units in total, a reception area, an indoor pool, and a terrace that is also open in winter. The accommodation consists of a main building and an annex building, which are separate and approx. 200 m apart. For culinary delights, there is an à la carte restaurant and a public bar directly in the hotel, as well as the "Bauernstube" parlour. The hotel's wellness area with a sauna, steam bath, and indoor pool offers pure relaxation. Guests can use Wi-Fi in their rooms free of charge.

Double room annex building

The comfortable rooms in the annex building (approx. 200 m from the main building) feature satellite TV, telephone, shower or bathtub, WC, and hairdryer. Sleeping facilities include a double bed and a single sofa bed. The average room size is approx. 18 m² (DNH).

Double room with 1 extra bed

These double rooms are located in the main building of the hotel, are slightly more spacious, and also have a balcony. Otherwise, they are equipped similarly to the double rooms in the annex building (approx. 20m², Z1D).

Comfort double room

Furnished with traditional wood elements, the comfort rooms are even more spacious and otherwise offer the same location and amenities as the double rooms in the main building (approx. 32m², DA).

Single room

The single rooms, located in the main building, feature a single bed, satellite TV, telephone, radio, shower or bathtub, WC, hairdryer, and a balcony (approx. 15m², E).

Meals begin with dinner on the day of arrival and end with breakfast on the day of departure.
