The charming village of Fügen in the beautiful Zillertal impresses with its varied design possibilities. In addition, the traditional Fügen offers cozy bars and an impressive mountain panorama. Shopping facilities can be found in the Stadtgalerien Schwaz shopping center, about 19 km away. In addition, some interesting day trip destinations await your visit in the surroundings of Fügen. Particularly recommended are Innsbruck (approx. 50 km away), Castle Tratzberg (approx. 14.2 km away), the local history museum and the Erlebnistherme Zillertal. Immerse yourself in the wonderful landscape by bike or on extensive hikes past lush meadows. Well-marked hiking trails offer the optimal conditions for this. The area can also be explored wonderfully on horseback or while Nordic walking. Especially in summer, you can combine excellent nature experience and sports activities in and around Fügen by swimming at the Schlitterer See lake (approx. 5 km away) or in the outdoor pool (in the village). Climbing is also a sporty activity. Improve your handicap while golfing or play a game of mini-golf. Spend an eventful day in the Zell am Ziller leisure park (approx. 15.5 km). Visit the Alpine Zoo Innsbruck (approx. 47 km).

A free ski bus (according to the local timetable) will take you directly to the Hochfügen & Hochzillertal ski area. The ski bus stop is located directly at the hotel. A practice lift (approx. 10 m away) is available for ski beginners. The Spieljochbahn cable car is only about 10 m from the hotel. The total cross-country ski trail length is about 5 km, the nearest cross-country ski trail is around 1 km away. Those who want to enjoy the scenic beauty of the region on cozy winter hikes will find hiking trails with a total length of approx. 5 km just about 50 m away.

The Hotel Kohlerhof, partly renovated in 2021, with 4 stars offers you, in addition to a total of 158 accommodation units, an inviting lobby with seating areas, a reception, a lounge, a wine cellar, and an e-car charging station. Your accommodation consists of a main building and several outbuildings, with the main and outbuildings connected underground and approx. 15 m apart. Let yourself be pampered culinarily in the à la carte restaurant, in another restaurant, and in a small parlor. You can end an eventful holiday in convivial company at the hotel bar or in the public bar "PizzPub" located in the hotel. The winter sports area, particularly popular with families, with its wide pistes extends to a snow-sure altitude and is suitable for winter sports enthusiasts of all ages. It features practice lifts for beginners, a race course, and various snow-making facilities. With floodlights on, the piste can also be enjoyed at night. Of course, after a long day of skiing, there are also various options for après-ski. A toboggan run also promises a lot of fun.
