Location

The charming village of Fügen in the beautiful Zillertal Valley offers a variety of recreational opportunities. Traditional Fügen also boasts cozy bars and impressive mountain scenery. You can find almost anything your heart desires at the Stadtgalerien Schwaz shopping center (approx. 19 km away). Additionally, there are several interesting day trip destinations in the vicinity of Fügen. Innsbruck (approx. 50 km away), Schloß Tratzberg (approx. 14.2 km away), as well as the local museum and the Erlebnistherme Zillertal water park are highly recommended. As soon as the first snowflakes fall, Fügen transforms into a winter wonderland. Skiing, cross-country skiing, and snow biking are just a few of the activities you can enjoy. The snowy landscape is particularly beautiful during a leisurely sleigh ride or a ski tour. Tobogganing on the run is also great fun. The Hintertux Glacier is approximately 42.5 km away.

Facilities

The family-friendly Gartenhotel Crystal, partially renovated in 2021 and rated 4-star superior, offers a total of 92 accommodation units, a welcoming lobby with seating areas, a reception, a lounge, a wine cellar, an e-bike charging station, an e-car charging station, and drying rooms for hiking and cycling gear. Enjoy culinary delights in the breakfast room, the à la carte restaurant, another restaurant, and a traditional Tyrolean parlor ("Stüberl"). You can round off an eventful day in good company at the hotel bar or at a public bar located about 300 meters away. A terrace and a garden are also available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the hotel's bicycle storage room. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
For your winter sports equipment in winter, there is a ski and snowboard storage room accessible from the hotel, as well as a heated ski boot room with a ski boot dryer.

Double Room

The rooms (Blütentraum, approx. 24m²) feature a flat-screen TV, telephone, radio, shower or bathtub, toilet, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, and a balcony. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a queen-size bed (140x200cm). Occupancy: min. 2 adults. max. 2 adults (D).

Double Room Type A (from Summer 26)

The rooms (Alpenveilchen, approx. 29m²) have similar amenities to the Blütentraum double rooms but are slightly larger and some have a balcony (DA).

Suite

The comfortable "Zirbensuite" suites (S2, approx. 34 m²) feature a flat-screen TV, telephone, radio, seating area, shower or bathtub, partly separate toilet, hairdryer, and cosmetic mirror, and some have a balcony. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a king-size bed (140x200cm).

Family Suite (from Summer 26)

The family suites (Sonnenblumensuite, approx. 36m²) have similar amenities to the Zirbensuite but offer a separate living area with a sofa bed and a sleeping area with a double bed (2FS).

The meal plan starts with dinner on arrival day and ends with breakfast on departure day.
Welcome drink, daily breakfast buffet, daily afternoon snack from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM with cold and warm dishes, evening 5-course menu with salad buffet including vegetarian options and regional specialties, gluten-free products and diet cuisine available upon request (advance notice required), apples available at all times and seasonal fruit in the lounge.

Especially in winter: Ski area Ski Optimal-Hochzillertal: This winter sports area, particularly popular with families, with its wide slopes extends to snow-sure altitudes, suitable for winter sports enthusiasts of all ages, and features beginner lifts, a race course, and various snow-making facilities. With floodlights switched on, the slope can also be enjoyed at night. Of course, after a long day of skiing, there are also various options for enjoyable après-ski. A toboggan run also promises a lot of fun.
