Location

The Romantikhotel Zell am See is located in the idyllic village of Zell am See, right at the foot of the majestic Kitzsteinhorn mountain and just a few steps from the clear, sparkling Lake Zell. The city center is only approx. 100m away.
In winter, Zell am See offers first-class opportunities for skiing and snowboarding on the surrounding slopes of the Schmittenhöhe and Kitzsteinhorn. You have direct access to the best ski areas in the region from the hotel and can enjoy the diversity of the winter mountain world. The CityXpress gondola, which provides entry to the Schmittenhöhe hiking area, is located just approx. 500m from the hotel.
In summer, the surrounding area is perfect for numerous hiking and cycling trails, as well as water sports on Lake Zell. Whether you want to discover the lake via stand-up paddling or a leisurely boat trip, or conquer the mountains on foot or by mountain bike – every nature lover will find what they are looking for here.

Facilities

The family-run Romantikhotel combines tradition and romance under one roof. The 45 themed rooms offer an ideal retreat. The cuisine is characterized by regionality and organic quality, offering a selection of traditional and international dishes. In addition to the reception area, the hotel features a cozy bar, an open fireplace, two restaurants, a lounge, an elevator, a terrace, and a garden.

Double "Starlet" Room

The cozy double rooms (D, approx. 18 m²) feature a shower/WC, bathrobe, telephone, hairdryer, safe, seating area, cable TV, and central heating.

Double "Romance" Room

With otherwise similar features to the "Starlet" rooms, these offer a little more space at approx. 22 m² (DA).

Double "Cuddle" Room

Also similarly equipped to the "Starlet" rooms, these offer 22 m² of space and a balcony (DB).
(As of summer 26, the room will be named "Double Romance Room Type A with balcony or French balcony")

Garden Suite

Suite in the country house at the Rose Garden, connected underground to the main building, with visually separated living and sleeping areas, shower/WC, hairdryer, tea station, cable TV, telephone, room safe, bathrobes, and balcony (S2).
