Location

The idyllic village of Wagrain, nestled between the Tennengebirge and the Radstätter Tauern mountains, particularly impresses with its diverse leisure activities. Your holiday destination offers a unique combination of tradition and modernity, an extensive selection of restaurants, and impressive mountain scenery. Enjoy the charm of nature on extensive hikes through lush meadows and green forests. Well-marked hiking trails provide the ideal conditions. Especially in summer, you can combine nature experiences and sports activities in and around Wagrain by swimming in the Wasserwelt Wagrain outdoor pool.
In winter, the accommodation is especially suitable for alpine skiers, cross-country skiers, and for extensive winter hikes. A free ski bus runs (according to the timetable on site). The ski bus stop is located opposite the hotel at approx. 20 m distance. A practice lift (approx. 950 m away) is available for ski beginners. The Grafenbergbahn cable car in the Ski Amadé ski area is about 500 m from the hotel. The nearest cross-country ski trail (Tauernloipe) is approx. 500 m away. A hiking trail just about 100 m away invites you to enjoy pleasant winter walks.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. A hiking bus (for a fee) takes you to the directly adjacent hiking area Salzburger Sportwelt. The hiking bus stop is about 50 m away. You can also reach the Wagrain cable car after approx. 500 m. A cycle path approx. 50 m away allows you to be active and enjoy the scenery at the same time.

Facilities

The family-friendly Hotel Wagrainerhof, partially renovated in 2023 and rated 4 stars, offers a reception area, a reception desk, and an e-car charging station in addition to its 63 accommodation units. Your accommodation consists of a main building and an annex building, with the main and annex buildings being connected. Treat yourself to culinary delights in the à la carte restaurant "Wagrainerhof", in another restaurant, and in the "Jägerstube" parlour. You can round off an eventful holiday in the public bar "The People'z" located within the hotel. A terrace is also available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the hotel's own, lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is not permitted throughout the hotel.
For your winter sports equipment, a lockable ski and snowboard storage room, accessible from the hotel, and a heated ski boot room with a ski boot dryer are available.

On Mondays and Wednesdays, the Wasserwelt is entirely dedicated to children. Other days of the week are recommended for relaxed family moments.
