Location

The idyllic town of Wagrain, nestled between the Tennengebirge mountains and the Radstädter Tauern, stands out in particular due to its diverse recreational opportunities. Your holiday destination offers a unique combination of tradition and modernity, an extensive selection of local establishments, and an impressive mountain backdrop. Enjoy the charm of nature with long hikes past lush meadows and green forests; well-marked hiking trails provide the optimal conditions for this. Especially in summer, you can perfectly combine nature experiences and sporting activities in and around Wagrain by swimming in the Wasserwelt Wagrain outdoor pool.
In winter, the accommodation is especially suitable for alpine skiers, cross-country skiers, and those looking for long winter walks. A free ski bus (according to the local timetable) operates. You will find the ski bus stop opposite the hotel at a distance of approx. 20 m. A practice lift is available for ski beginners (approx. 950 m away). The Grafenbergbahn mountain lift in the Ski Amadé region is located about 500 m from the hotel. The nearest cross-country ski trail (Tauernloipe) is approx. 500 m away. A hiking trail just 100 m away invites you to enjoy cozy winter walks.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. A hiking bus (for a fee) will take you to the directly adjacent Salzburger Sportwelt hiking area. The hiking bus stop is approx. 50 m away. You can also reach the Wagrain mountain lift after approx. 500 m. You can engage in sports and enjoy the landscape at the same time on a cycling path approx. 50 m away.

Facilities

The family-friendly 4-star Hotel Wagrainerhof, partially renovated in 2023, offers a total of 63 accommodation units, a lobby area, a reception, and an electric car charging station. Your accommodation consists of a main building and an annex, which are connected to each other. Allow yourself to be culinarily pampered in the à-la-carte restaurant "Wagrainerhof", in another restaurant, and in the "Jägerstube" parlor. You can wind down an eventful day of vacation in the hotel's public bar, "The People'z", in a sociable atmosphere. A terrace is also available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the hotel's own lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hotel area.
For your winter sports equipment, a lockable ski and snowboard storage room accessible from within the hotel, as well as a heated ski boot room with a ski boot dryer, are available.
