This region is all about exploring nature together. The area offers wonderful forests and numerous bike and hiking trails that lead directly from the hotel into the mountains. During the summer months, you can discover wonderful bathing spots, gorges, and streams from Hotel Friedlwirt. The Saalach River is a unique Eldorado for water sports enthusiasts who want to explore the river by kayak or canoe. The hotel's location also makes it ideal for great excursions, such as to Zell am See (approx. 48 km away) or Salzburg (approx. 40 km away). The center of Unken can be reached in about 3.5 km.

In a quiet location. Almenwelt Lofer ski area (56 km of slopes) approx. 11km - free ski bus stop directly at the hotel to and from the ski area (hourly); Heutal ski area approx. 7km. The hotel is known for its great atmosphere and extensive holiday offerings. The accommodation is family-run and features 24 rooms and apartments. Additionally, the hotel is equipped with an inviting lobby and reception, a restaurant with several dining areas, a cozy hotel bar, and a wellness area of approx. 200 m² .

The Family Rooms (approx. 29m²) have similar amenities but feature a double bed and a bunk bed as sleeping arrangements (DF2).

Apartment

The 2-room apartments (approx. 40m²) are comfortably sized and equipped with a living/sleeping area with a double sofa bed and a separate bedroom with a double bed. Additionally, these apartments feature a fully equipped kitchenette (dishes and cutlery, dishwasher, electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and coffee machine), a dining table, a small wardrobe, a shower, separate toilet, and a balcony or terrace (AP).
