In this region, the motto is: explore nature together. The region offers wonderful forests and several bike and hiking tours that lead directly from the hotel into the mountains. For a successful sporty start to the day, early risers also have the opportunity to go for a jogging round in nature. For the younger visitors, nature naturally offers a lot – whether it's roaming through the forests or collecting beautiful pebbles by the stream, playing in nature is simply especially fun.
During the summer months, wonderful swimming spots, gorges, and streams can be discovered from Hotel Friedlwirt. The Saalach River is a unique Eldorado for water sports enthusiasts who want to explore the river by kayak or canoe. Due to the hotel's location, great excursions are also possible, such as to Zell am See (approx. 48 km away) or to Salzburg (approx. 40 km away). The center of Unken can be reached in approx. 3.5 km.

In a quiet location. Almenwelt Lofer ski area (56 km of slopes) approx. 11km - free ski bus stop directly at the hotel to and from the ski area (hourly); Heutal ski area approx. 7km. Unken center approx. 3.5km with ski rental. Ski school directly in the Almenwelt Lofer ski area. Salzburg city approx. 35km.

This guesthouse exudes a welcoming and warm atmosphere – welcome to an accommodation far away from everyday stress and hectic hustle and bustle. The hotel is known for its great atmosphere and rich holiday offerings. The accommodation is family-run and has 24 rooms and apartments. Additionally, the hotel is equipped with a welcoming lobby and reception, a restaurant with several dining areas, a cozy hotel bar, and a wellness area of approx. 200 m².

The Family Rooms (approx. 29m²) have similar amenities but feature a double bed and a bunk bed as sleeping arrangements (DF2).

Apartment

The 2-room apartments (approx. 40m²) are comfortably sized and equipped with a living/sleeping area with a double pull-out couch and a separate bedroom with a double bed. Additionally, these apartments feature a fully equipped kitchenette (dishes and cutlery, dishwasher, electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and coffee machine), a dining table, a small wardrobe, shower, WC (separate), and a balcony or terrace (AP).
