Pension Koidl is idyllically situated in the picturesque village of Maria Alm, nestled amidst the breathtaking mountain scenery of the Salzburg region. Just a few minutes' walk from the village center, guests can enjoy a peaceful yet central location. Surrounded by green meadows and the imposing backdrop of the Hohe Tauern mountains, the guesthouse is the ideal starting point for hiking and mountain biking tours.
Especially in winter:
Ski lift for access to the Hochkönig winter region approx. 700m away. Ski run possible to the guesthouse depending on snow conditions. Ski bus and cross-country ski trail approx. 200m away. Ski rental and ski school approx. 800m away. Winter hiking trails approx. 300m away.

Facilities

The 3-star Pension Koidl is run with care and personal attention, offering its guests 14 cozy rooms. A welcoming dining and lounge area, as well as a sunny terrace, are available for relaxing moments. On the sunbathing lawn with comfortable loungers and parasols, you can enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.

Double Room Type A

The Double Rooms Type A (DA, approx. 19m²) feature a comfortable double bed and are ideal for 2 people. The room is equipped with a shower, toilet, cable TV, alarm clock, and free Wi-Fi. The room does not have a balcony.

Double Room Type B

The Double Room Type B (DB, approx. 20m²) offers a double bed and an extra bed, as well as a lovely balcony. The room also features a shower, toilet, cable TV, and Wi-Fi.

Double Room Type C

The Double Room Type C (DC, approx. 22m²) has a double bed and either an extra bed or a bunk bed, providing space for up to 2 children. The room does not have a balcony but ensures a comfortable stay with a shower, toilet, cable TV, and Wi-Fi.

Double Room Type D

The Double Rooms Type D (DD, approx. 20m²) also feature the same amenities as the Double Rooms Type A, but this room has a balcony. Baby cots are available on request.

For all guests staying in the state of Salzburg from May 1, 2025 onwards, there is a new levy, the "Mobility Tax". The fee will be collected in parallel with the local tax per overnight stay and will fund the expansion of transportation. In return, all guests will receive free use of public transport at their holiday destination. The tax must be paid regardless of whether public transport is used.
- The Mobility Tax is a legally mandated levy and must be paid for all applicable overnight stays.
- From May 1, 2025: €0.50, with a gradual increase, from May 1, 2027: €1.10.
