Pension Koidl is idyllically located in the picturesque Maria Alm, nestled in the breathtaking mountain scenery of the Salzburg region. Just a few minutes' walk from the village center, guests here enjoy a quiet yet central location. Surrounded by green meadows and the imposing backdrop of the Hohe Tauern mountains, the guesthouse is the ideal starting point for hiking and mountain biking tours.
Especially in winter:
On the outskirts of Maria Alm, center approx. 800 m. Ski lift for access to the Hochkönig winter kingdom approx. 700m. Ski descent possible to the guesthouse depending on snow conditions. Ski bus and cross-country ski trail approx. 200m. Ski rental and ski school approx. 800m. Winter hiking trails approx. 300m.

Facilities

The 3-star Pension Koidl is lovingly and personally run and offers its guests 14 cozy rooms. A welcoming dining and lounge area as well as a sunny terrace are available for relaxing hours. On the sunbathing lawn with comfortable loungers and sunshades, you can enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.

Double Room Type A

The Double Rooms Type A (DA, approx. 19m²) offer a comfortable double bed and are ideal for 2 people. The room has a shower, toilet, cable TV, radio alarm clock, and free Wi-Fi. The room does not have a balcony.

Double Room Type B

The Double Room Type B (DB, approx. 20m²) offers a double bed and an extra bed, as well as a beautiful balcony. The room also has a shower, toilet, cable TV, and Wi-Fi.

Double Room Type C

The Double Room Type C (DC, approx. 22m²) features a double bed and either an extra bed or a bunk bed, providing space for up to 2 children. The room does not have a balcony but ensures a pleasant stay with a shower, toilet, cable TV, and Wi-Fi.

Double Room Type D

The Double Rooms Type D (DD, approx. 20m²) also have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Type A, but this room has a balcony. Baby cots are available on request.

For all guests staying in the state of Salzburg from May 1, 2025, there is a new levy, the "Mobility Levy". The fee is collected concurrently with the tourist tax per overnight stay and contributes to the expansion of transport. In return, all guests receive free use of public transport at their holiday destination. The levy must be paid regardless of whether public transport is used.
- The Mobility Levy is a legally regulated tax and must be paid for all chargeable overnight stays.
- From May 1, 2025: €0.50, with a gradual increase to €1.10 from May 1, 2027.
