Further excursion options include Lake Zell (approx. 2 km away) or the Hohe Tauern National Park. Its proximity to the Zell am See and Kaprun ski areas makes the inn a popular choice for winter sports enthusiasts.

With a total of 20 lovingly designed rooms in a traditional yet elegant ambiance, the inn particularly impresses with its diverse recreational opportunities on-site and in the surrounding area. Carefully selected dishes made with regional and fresh ingredients provide culinary highlights, complemented by the rustic decor of the restaurant. The beautiful garden restaurant in the heart of Maishofen is especially popular in the summer. Parking is available directly at the inn. For relaxation, guests can enjoy the charming rooms with wooden furniture and soft colors, as well as the sauna area on the first floor with a fantastic view of nature. In summer, there is also a natural swimming pond in the Post garden. Overall, the inn stands out with its special flair and warm hospitality.

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the state of Salzburg from May 1, 2025, there is a new levy, the "Mobility Tax". The fee will be charged parallel to the local tax per overnight stay and will contribute to the expansion of transportation. In return, all guests will receive free use of public transportation at their holiday destination. The levy must be paid regardless of the use of public transport.
