Location

Spend a relaxing yet sporty and active holiday in Kaprun. The non-smoking hotel Das Alpenhaus Kaprun (altitude approx. 786 m) is located directly in the center. Cafés and restaurants, as well as shops, are right next to the hotel. The nearest point of interest (high-alpine reservoirs) is about 9 km away. In Zell am See, approximately 7 km away, thepicturesquely located Zeller See awaits all water enthusiasts. A golf course is located about 3 km from the hotel. Entertaining hours also await you at the Tauern Spa thermal baths with outdoor and indoor pools, approximately 1.7 km away.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. A hiking bus (for a fee) takes you to the directly adjacent Kitzsteinhorn hiking area. The hiking bus stop is about 50 m away. The Maiskogelbahn cable car is also just about 200 m away. You can be active on a cycle path directly at the house and enjoy the scenery at the same time.

For your culinary well-being, there is the à la carte restaurant "Weinstube", the restaurant "ALPENHAUS.RESTAURANT", the hotel bar "ALPENHAUS.BAR", and a public bar. Cyclists can use the hotel's lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is not permitted in the entire hotel.
