Location

Spend a relaxing yet sporty and active holiday in Kaprun. The non-smoking hotel Das Alpenhaus Kaprun (altitude approx. 786 m) is located directly in the center. Cafés and restaurants as well as shopping facilities are right next to the house. The nearest attraction (high mountain reservoirs) is about 9 km away. In Zell am See, about 7 km away, the picturesque Zeller See awaits all water lovers. A golf course is located about 3 km from the hotel. Entertaining hours also await you at the Tauern Spa thermal baths with indoor and outdoor pools, about 1.7 km away.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. A hiking bus (for a fee) takes you to the directly adjacent Kitzsteinhorn hiking area. The hiking bus stop is about 50 m away. The Maiskogelbahn cable car is also just about 200 m away. You can get active on a cycle path directly behind the house and enjoy the landscape at the same time.
