Location

The Hotel Wasserfall is located in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park, surrounded by a dreamlike panorama of the surrounding mountain world. The center of Fusch, with its various entertainment, shopping, and dining options, is approximately 500 m away. The hotel, situated on the well-known and absolutely worth seeing Großglockner High Alpine Road, offers the ideal starting point for numerous hikes, mountain bike and motorcycle tours, as well as excursions in the surrounding area. The protected area for rare orchids in the Ferleiten valley is particularly worth seeing. A public outdoor swimming pool is located about 500 m away. A bathing lake, perfect for cooling off in the summer, is about 7 km away. Hiking and cycling trails pass directly by the hotel.
Look forward to pure skiing fun and extensive winter hikes. A free ski bus (according to the timetable on site) will take you directly to the Zell am See/Schmitten & Kaprun ski area. The ski bus stop is about 250 m from the hotel. A practice lift (approx. 500 m away) is available for beginner skiers. The Areitbahn cable car in the Zell am See/Schmitten ski area is about 10 km from the hotel. The nearest cross-country ski trail is about 500 m away. A hiking trail in direct view of the accommodation invites you to enjoy pleasant winter walks.

Facilities

The 3-star Hotel Wasserfall is a very cozy and family-run establishment. The hotel offers a total of 27 comfortable rooms and features a reception with a lobby, a welcoming hotel bar, and a lovely restaurant with cozy dining rooms. Guests can indulge in culinary delights at the excellent restaurant, which serves regional specialties and international dishes. The hotel also offers an à la carte restaurant. On sunny days, the hotel terrace is perfect for relaxing moments. In winter, a lockable ski room with a ski boot dryer is available, as is a lockable bicycle storage room.

Double Room

These bright and modern non-smoking rooms feature a double bed and a pull-out bed, cable TV with integrated radio, shower, toilet, and hairdryer. Some rooms have a balcony (approx. 19 sqm, D).

Super Saver Room

These modern and bright non-smoking rooms are slightly smaller and feature a double bed, cable TV with integrated radio, shower, toilet, and hairdryer. However, they do not have a balcony (approx. 17 sqm, SSZ).

Family Room

These comfortable and spacious family rooms offer a double bed plus a double sofa bed or bunk beds, otherwise they are equipped similarly to the double rooms (approx. 24 sqm, DF2).

Single Room

With otherwise similar amenities to the Super Saver Rooms, these rooms have a single bed and are slightly smaller (approx. 15 sqm, E).
