Location

Hotel Wasserfall is located in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park, surrounded by a dreamlike backdrop of the surrounding mountains. The center of Fusch with its various entertainment, shopping facilities and restaurants is approximately 500 m away. The hotel, situated on the well-known and absolutely worthwhile Grossglockner High Alpine Road, offers the ideal starting point for numerous hikes, mountain bike & motorcycle tours, and excursions in the surrounding area. Particularly worth seeing is the sanctuary for rare orchids in the Ferleitental valley. A public outdoor swimming pool can be found about 500 m away. At about 7 km you will find a swimming lake where you can refresh yourself in the summer. Hiking and cycling paths lead directly past the hotel.
Look forward to pure skiing fun and extensive winter hikes. A free ski bus (according to the timetable on-site) will take you directly to the Zell am See/Schmitten & Kaprun ski area. The ski bus stop is located about 250 m from the hotel. A practice lift (approx. 500 m away) is available for ski beginners. The Areitbahn cable car in the Zell am See/Schmitten ski area is about 10 km from the hotel. The nearest cross-country ski trail is about 500 m away. A hiking trail in direct sight of the accommodation invites you for cozy winter hikes.

Facilities

The 3-star Hotel Wasserfall is a very cozy and family-run establishment. The hotel has a total of 27 comfortable rooms and offers a reception with a lobby, a convivial hotel bar, and a beautiful restaurant with cozy furnished parlors. You can indulge in culinary delights in the excellent restaurant with regional specialties and international dishes. The hotel also offers an à la carte restaurant. On sunny days, the hotel terrace is ideal for relaxing hours. In winter, a lockable ski room with ski boot dryer is available, and in summer a lockable bicycle room.

Double Room

The bright and modern non-smoking rooms have a double bed and a fold-out bed, cable TV with integrated radio, shower, toilet, and hairdryer, and some have a balcony (approx. 19 m², D).

Super Saver Room

The modern and bright non-smoking rooms are slightly smaller and feature a double bed, cable TV with integrated radio, shower, toilet, and hairdryer, but do not have a balcony (approx. 17 m², SSZ).

Family Room

The comfortable and spacious family rooms offer a double bed plus a double sofa bed or bunk bed; otherwise, they are equipped similarly to the double rooms (approx. 24 m², DF2).

Single Room

With otherwise similar amenities to the Super Saver Rooms, these rooms have a single bed and are slightly smaller (approx. 15 m², E).
