Location

The village of Bad Hofgastein captivates with its diverse design possibilities. Bad Hofgastein also offers plenty of space to truly relax and unwind on your holiday. Additionally, interesting destinations for day trips can be found in the vicinity of Bad Hofgastein. For example, the Alpentherme (approx. 500m) and the center with cafes, restaurants, and shops (approx. 350m) are particularly recommended. The Schlossalmbahn cable car is accessible after approx. 3 km. There is a connection to the Bad Hofgastein train station (approx. 6 km).

Facilities

The 4-star Johannesbad Hotel Palace offers a total of 198 accommodation units, a lobby with a fireplace, a reception, a lounge, and a hotel park of approximately 30,000 m² with walking paths. The accommodation consists of a main building and a side building. The hotel offers a diverse range of culinary delights, such as the two restaurants "Wiener Saal" and "Parkrestaurant," as well as the two parlors "Zirbenstüberl" and "Salzburgerstüberl." An eventful holiday can be wonderfully rounded off in the company of others at the hotel bar "Palace" or at the public bar "Piccolo," located about 500m from the hotel. The panorama lounge offers a spectacular view of the surrounding mountain panorama. The Vitaloase with its indoor pool ensures maximum relaxation.

Double Room Cozy Room

The double rooms are approx. 18m² and offer a double bed, seating area, desk, balcony, safe (free of charge), and heating. Additionally, there is a TV, telephone, and Wi-Fi. The bathroom is equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, and bathrobe (free of charge) (D).

The Comfort Rooms are more spacious (approx. 26m²) and, in addition to the double bed, offer 2 extra beds. The bathroom has a bathtub or shower. Otherwise, similar amenities (DKO).

The rooms for 1 adult are similar to the Double Comfort rooms, but smaller (approx. 18m²) and have a single bed (EKO).

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the state of Salzburg from May 1, 2025, there will be a new charge, the "Mobility Tax."
