Location

The 4-star hotel is located in the picturesque family region of Katschberg-Rennweg, directly on the Tauern Main Ridge at an altitude of 1600m, on the border between Carinthia and Salzburg. This privileged location makes the hotel an ideal starting point for nature lovers and active holidaymakers who want to enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery. In the immediate vicinity are the two national parks "Kärntner Nockberge" and "Hohe Tauern". Whether on extensive hikes or mountain bike tours - the surroundings offer countless opportunities to discover nature. The hotel is only about 100 meters from the center with restaurants, bars and shops, so guests can quickly reach the amenities of the region.

Hotel Das Katschberg has 65 comfortable and modernly furnished rooms. Further amenities include a lounge, a restaurant and a cozy bar.
For added comfort, there is an elevator, as well as a sun terrace with loungers and umbrellas (subject to availability), inviting you to relax in the mountain sun.

Double Room Bergkristall

The Bergkristall double room (D, approx. 28m²) offers a cozy atmosphere. It has a bath or shower, a separate toilet, a hairdryer, satellite TV, a safe, and a sofa bed. Some rooms have a balcony.

Junior Suite

The junior suites (JS2, approx. 28-32m²) are equipped with a double bed and a sofa bed, and some have a freestanding bathtub. Otherwise, they have the same amenities as the double rooms and a balcony.

Apartment Deluxe

The spacious Apartment Deluxe (D2A, approx. 45-60m²) features modern furnishings and two separate double bedrooms. The bathroom is spacious and has a shower and a separate toilet. It also offers a balcony, telephone, radio, and cable TV.

The elegant "Katschberg" Suites (S2, approx. 46m²-50m²) consist of a bedroom and a separate living room with a pull-out sofa. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, there is a separate toilet and a balcony.

Once per stay, admission to Mauterndorf Castle, Badeinsel Tamsweg with giant slide, St. Michael outdoor pool, Maria Pfarr outdoor pool, Rennweg outdoor pool, Mauterndorf adventure pool, admission to various museums, admission to Familypark Smarty-Land Mauterndorf, Outdoorpark/Waterpark Lungau, Eselpark Maltatal, and mini golf in Mauterndorf, St. Michael, and Tamsweg. Once per stay, a ride on the E-Tschu-Tschu-Bahn and the Maria Pfarr Dampferl. Once per stay, pony rides at Ponyalm and a guided hike.
