Location

Whether you prefer a vacation by the lake or in the mountains, the choice is often not easy; at the beautiful Naturel Hoteldorf Schönleitn, guests can enjoy both. The hotel complex is ideally situated on a sunny slope above Lake Faak in Carinthia. In this wonderful region, peace and relaxation meet a diverse range of leisure activities and a convivial village atmosphere. The nearest center is Faak am See, which can be reached in approx. 2 km. In Faak am See, guests will also find the nearest train station (approx. 2 km), and the nearest airport is in Klagenfurt (approx. 50 km away). For cooling off in the summer, the beautiful lakes of the region are available; the closest are Lake Faak and Lake Aichwald (approx. 1.2 km away).

Amenities

The village of SCHÖNLEITN consists of 24 traditional farmhouses, which offer space for 94 apartments. The houses are approximately 400 years old and have been lovingly restored with great attention to detail and furnished in a country-house style. In the farmhouses, guests will find everything needed for a cozy and independent vacation while enjoying the comfort of an on-site wellness area and a restaurant in the village square. The holiday village SCHÖNLEITN is car-free, offering plenty of safety for even the youngest guests. The love for the Carinthian region can also be tasted in the village hotel's restaurant, as mostly products from selected local producers and suppliers are served on the plate. For guests who prefer to cater for themselves, the hotel offers a village shop, so no one has to miss out on fresh bread rolls, milk, and eggs for breakfast.
