Location

The Almresort Gartnerkofel, located in immediate proximity to the Austrian-Italian border, is situated in a picturesque location at 1,500m altitude with a magnificent view over the Carnic Alps and is an ideal starting point for hikes and excursions for the whole family. It offers numerous opportunities to immerse yourselves in the mountain world of both countries. The center of Tröpolach is about 10km away, and the Gartnerkofel chairlift is located about 300m from the hotel. For hotel guests arriving by train, the nearest train station is in Hermagor (approx. 19 km away) and the nearest airport is in Klagenfurt (approx. 104 km away). For guests wishing to take a trip to a swimming lake in the summer, a visit to Presseggersee lake (approx. 25 km away) or Laghetto Pramollo lake (approx. 2 km, Italy) is recommended.

The Almresort Gartnerkofel in Nassfeld consists of 11 houses with a total of 57 very spacious apartments, as well as the Almhotel Kärnten (4 stars) about 150m away. All facilities are located in the Almhotel Kärnten, such as the spacious and elegant lobby, the restaurant, the hotel bar, and a cozy sun terrace. Wi-Fi is included throughout the Almresort and Almhotel Kärnten.

Family Chalet

The 3-room Family Chalet is suitable for 2-6 people and is spread over 2 levels. It is equipped with an entrance hall with a wardrobe, a cozy living room, one bedroom with a double bed, and another bedroom with 2 bunk beds. There are a total of 2 bathrooms, each with a shower/toilet and hairdryer. Further amenities include satellite TV (2-3 flat screens with 32 inches), integrated radio in the TV, a safe, dining and seating area, Wi-Fi, a fully equipped built-in kitchen (dishes, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, microwave with grill and baking function, and 4-plate electric stove), and a balcony (approx. 75m², 2CH).

Spa Chalet

The Spa Chalet is of similar size and also extends over 2 levels. The facilities include an entrance hall with a wardrobe, a living room with a double sofa bed, 2 bedrooms each with a double bed, 2 bathrooms (1 with shower/toilet and 1 with shower or bathtub and separate toilet), and a private sauna in the chalet (approx. 76m², CHD).

* Breakfast buffet with vitality corner from 7:30 AM to 10 AM
* Lunch buffet including salad buffet from 12 PM to 1:30 PM

* In the evening, extensive diverse theme buffets including salad buffet from 6 PM to 8 PM.
* From 11 AM to 10 PM, soft drinks such as cola, apple juice, orange juice, lemonade, coffee specialties like cappuccino, latte macchiato, and espresso, as well as draft beer and wine (red/white) for self-service at the hotel bar - consumption of drinks in the bar/restaurant area and on the terrace is possible.

Hotel Service

ATTENTION: The chalets are not cleaned daily, only a final cleaning is included in the price!
Towels (bath, kitchen, and hand) are changed once a week. Bed linen is changed every 8 days.
