Location

The Almresort Gartnerkofel is located in the immediate vicinity of the Austrian-Italian border, situated in a picturesque position at an altitude of 1,500m with a magnificent view over the Carnic Alps, making it an ideal starting point for hikes and excursions for the whole family. There are numerous opportunities here to immerse yourself in the mountain worlds of both countries. The center of Tröpolach is approx. 10km away, and the Gartnerkofel chairlift is located approx. 300m from the hotel. For hotel guests arriving by train, the nearest train station is in Hermagor (approx. 19km away) and the nearest airport is in Klagenfurt (approx. 104km away). For guests wishing to take an excursion to a swimming lake in the summer, a visit to the Presseggersee bathing lake (approx. 25km away) or the Laghetto Pramollo bathing lake (approx. 2km, Italy) is worthwhile.

The Almresort Gartnerkofel in Nassfeld consists of 11 buildings with a total of 57 very spacious apartments, as well as the Almhotel Kärnten (4 stars) approx. 150m away. All facilities are located in the Almhotel Kärnten, such as the spacious and elegant lobby, the restaurant, the hotel bar, and a cozy sun terrace. Wi-Fi is included in the entire area of the Almresort and Almhotel Kärnten.

The 3-room Family Chalet is suitable for 2-6 people and is spread over 2 levels. It is equipped with an anteroom with a wardrobe, a cozy living room, one bedroom with a double bed, and another bedroom with 2 bunk beds. There are a total of 2 bathrooms, each with a shower/WC and a hairdryer. Further equipment includes satellite TV (2-3 flatscreens with 32 inches), radio integrated into the TV, safe, dining and sitting area, Wi-Fi, fully equipped built-in kitchen (dishes, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, microwave with grill and baking function, and 4-plate electric stove), and a balcony (approx. 75m², 2CH).

Spa Chalet

The Spa Chalet is similarly large and also extends over 2 levels. Amenities include an anteroom with a wardrobe, a living room with a double pull-out sofa, 2 bedrooms each with a double bed, 2 bathrooms (1x with shower/WC and 1x with shower or bathtub and separate WC), as well as a private sauna in the chalet (approx. 76m², CHD).
