Location

Spend a relaxing yet sporty and active holiday in Berg im Drautal. The Ferienhotel Glocknerhof is located about 1 km from the center with cafes and restaurants, as well as shopping facilities. About 4 km away, thepicturesquely situated bathing lake Greifenburg awaits all water lovers, or the public outdoor pool in Berg im Drautal, which is about 1 km away. FUGO-the leisure park on the lake is about 14 km from the hotel.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes, with the Emberger Alm hiking area located directly at the hotel with the hiking trail 17-Kräuterweg. Further excursion destinations include the Weissensee cable car (approx. 12 km) or a cycle path approx. 2 km away.
In winter, the accommodation is particularly suitable for alpine skiers, cross-country skiers, and for extended winter hikes. A free ski bus (according to the local timetable) goes directly to the Emberger Alm ski area, and the ski bus stop is directly at the house. A practice lift (approx. 400 m away) is available for ski beginners. Friends of tobogganing can indulge in their hobby on a track located directly at the hotel. The popular hiking trail 17-Kräuterweg directly at the house invites you to pleasant winter hikes.

Facilities

The 4-star Ferienhotel Glocknerhof offers a total of 80 bright living units and an inviting reception hall with seating areas, a reception, and a lounge. Special features of the hotel include an e-car charging station, a large outdoor area with a water slide, and a bowling alley. The cozy rooms are spread across the main and annex buildings, which are about 50 meters apart. There is something for every taste with a delicious meal or drink in the à la carte restaurant, another restaurant, the Stüberl, or the hotel bar. In winter, a lockable ski and snowboard storage room accessible from the house, as well as a heated ski boot room with a ski boot dryer, are available for sports equipment.

The modern and bright Comfort rooms in the annex building offer guests a double bed and a single sofa bed, a bathroom with shower/WC and hairdryer, and some have a balcony (approx. 22m², DKO).

Double Room Superior

The cozy Superior rooms, decorated in warm colors, are also located in the annex building and, in addition to the double bed, feature two single sofa beds and are more spacious, but otherwise have similar amenities to the Comfort rooms (DSU, approx. 25 m²).

Double Room Deluxe

The traditional Deluxe rooms without a balcony are located in the main building and offer a double bed, two single sofa beds, and a bathroom with a shower or bathtub. The Deluxe rooms are also slightly larger (DD2, approx. 28 m²).

These cozy rooms, located in the annex building, are designed for a single parent with a child and offer a double bed, otherwise having similar amenities and size to the Comfort double room (approx. 22m², D1K).

Emberger Alm Ski Area: Altitude: approx. 1,600 - 2,250 m The ski area, particularly popular with families, extends to a snow-sure altitude and is suitable for winter sports enthusiasts of all ages, featuring various snow-making facilities. Various huts invite you for a stop near the slopes. A toboggan run promises a lot of fun.
