Location

Spend a relaxing yet sporty and active holiday in Berg im Drautal. The Ferienhotel Glocknerhof is located about 1 km from the center with its cafés, restaurants, and shops. At approximately 4 km away, the picturesque Badesee Greifenburg awaits all water enthusiasts, or the public outdoor pool in Berg im Drautal, about 1 km away. FUGO amusement park by the lake is around 14 km from the hotel.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes; the Emberger Alm hiking area with the 17-Kräuterweg trail is directly accessible from the hotel. Other excursion destinations include the Weissensee cable car (approx. 12 km) or a cycle path about 2 km away.
In winter, the accommodation is particularly suitable for alpine skiers, cross-country skiers, and for extensive winter hikes. A free ski bus (according to the timetable on site) goes directly to the Emberger Alm ski area, with the ski bus stop located directly at the hotel. A practice lift (approx. 400 m away) is available for beginner skiers. Sledding enthusiasts can enjoy their hobby on a run directly at the hotel. The popular 17-Kräuterweg trail directly at the hotel invites you for pleasant winter walks.

Facilities

The 4-star Ferienhotel Glocknerhof offers a total of 80 bright units and an inviting reception hall with seating areas, a reception desk, and a lounge. Special features of the hotel include an e-car charging station, a large outdoor area with a water slide, and a bowling alley. The cozy rooms are spread across the main and an adjacent building, which are about 50 m apart. With delicious food or drinks at the à la carte restaurant, another restaurant, the Stüberl, or the hotel bar, there is something for every taste. For ski equipment, there is a lockable ski and snowboard storage room accessible from the hotel in winter, as well as a heated ski boot room with a ski boot dryer.

The modern and bright Comfort rooms in the adjacent building offer guests a double bed and a single sofa bed, a bathroom with shower/WC and hairdryer, and some have a balcony (approx. 22m², DKO).

Double Room Superior

The cozy Superior rooms, decorated in warm colors, are also located in the adjacent building and, in addition to the double bed, feature two single sofa beds. They are more spacious than the Comfort rooms but have similar amenities (DSU, approx. 25 m²).

Double Room Deluxe

The traditional Deluxe rooms without a balcony are located in the main building and offer a double bed, two single sofa beds, and a bathroom with a shower or bathtub. The Deluxe rooms are also slightly larger (DD2, approx. 28 m²).

These cozy rooms, located in the adjacent building, are designed for a single parent with one child. They feature a double bed and otherwise have similar amenities and size to the Comfort double room (approx. 22m², D1K).

Emberger Alm ski area: Altitude: approx. 1,600-2,250 m This winter sports area, particularly popular with families, extends to a snow-sure altitude and is suitable for winter sports enthusiasts of all ages, featuring various snow-making facilities. Numerous huts invite you for a break near the slopes. A toboggan run promises plenty of fun.
