Location

The high-class and centrally located InterContinental Malta is situated in St. Julian's, approx. 150 m from the private sandy beach. The city center with entertainment and shopping facilities can be reached after approx. 1 km. Further shops, bars, and restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. Excursions to the capital Valletta (approx. 8 km) or to the island's interior to Mdina (approx. 13 km) are also worthwhile. MLA Airport is approx. 9 km away.

Facilities

The hotel, last partially renovated in 2020, has 19 floors and offers a total of 481 modern and elegantly furnished rooms. It is equipped with a 24-hour reception, a lobby, a total of 6 elevators, air conditioning, a safe (for a fee), a hairdresser, a shop, parking (for a fee), a security entry system, and a currency exchange facility. Delicious meals can be enjoyed in the "Waterbiscuit" restaurant, and tasty drinks in a convivial atmosphere are available at the "Opal Lounge" or the "Narcis" pool bar. A special highlight is the "Skybeach" rooftop infinity pool with breathtaking views over the island (open May-October, available for a surcharge, see point Sports for a fee). A gym and a spa are available for an active workout or relaxing wellness. Free Wi-Fi is available to guests.

Club Room Type A

These rooms are equipped with a double bed or twin beds, carpeted floors, heating and air conditioning (centrally controlled), a kettle (free of charge), an espresso coffee machine, a minibar (for a fee), a balcony, internet, a safe (free of charge), and a flat-screen satellite TV. Access to the Club Lounge is included (approx. 35m², CTA).

Double Room

The modern double rooms offer beautiful city views (D/DE) with otherwise similar amenities and size to the Club rooms. Optionally bookable with garden view (2GD/1GD).

Double Room Premium

The bright, simply furnished, and modern Premium Double Rooms are slightly more spacious and offer two double beds or one king-size bed as sleeping accommodation, and also have city views (approx. 45 m², PDZ).

Suite

The generously proportioned, elegant suites offer a cozy sleeping area with a double bed and a sofa bed, as well as additional seating. The bathroom features a rain shower and a whirlpool bathtub. Additionally, there are coffee/tea making facilities, a furnished balcony, and a beautiful view of the city. Access to the Club Intercontinental is included (approx. 63m², S2).

Suite Panoramic View

Located on the higher floors, the Panoramic Suite offers a wonderful panoramic view and a spacious room with a king-size bed and a bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub and a walk-in shower. These are even more spacious and also include access to the Club Intercontinental (approx. 100m², S2U).

Club Suite

The Club Suites, equipped with modern design, feature a king-size bed, a sofa bed, and a seating area. The bathroom has a whirlpool bathtub, rain shower, and toilet. There is also seating on the balcony with city views, internet, air conditioning, Smart TV, coffee/tea making facilities, and access to the Club Intercontinental (approx. 60m², C2S).

Grand Suite

The elegant Grand Suite with warm and cozy colors creates a luxurious ambiance and features two king-size beds, a living area with a sofa bed, an en-suite bathroom with shower/toilet, and a separate smaller bathroom. The Grand Suite also offers access to the Club Intercontinental (approx. 80m², GR2).
