The high-class InterContinental Malta is centrally located on the island in St. Julian's, approx. 150 m from the private sandy beach. The city center with its entertainment and shopping options can be reached in approx. 1 km. Further shops, bars, and restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. Further excursions are worthwhile, e.g., to the capital Valletta (approx. 8 km) or inland to Mdina (approx. 13 km). The MLA airport is approx. 9 km away.

Facilities

Last partially renovated in 2020, this 19-story hotel is located in the second row from the beach and features a total of 481 modern and elegantly furnished rooms. It is equipped with a 24-hour reception, a lobby, 6 elevators in total, air conditioning, a safe (for a fee), a hairdresser, a shop, a parking lot (for a fee), a security entry system, and currency exchange facilities. Delicious meals can be enjoyed at the "Waterbiscuit" restaurant, and tasty drinks in a social atmosphere are available in the "Opal Lounge" or at the "Narcis" pool bar. A special highlight is the "Skybeach" rooftop infinity pool with a breathtaking view over the island (open May-October, available for an additional charge, see the Sports for a fee section). For active training or soothing relaxation, a gym area and a spa are available. To stay connected online, guests have access to complimentary Wi-Fi.

Double Room

The modern double rooms offer, with otherwise similar features and size to the club rooms, a beautiful view of the city (D/DE). Optionally bookable with a garden view (2GD/1GD).
Optionally bookable as Type A (DA/DGA) with 2 double beds.

Double Room Premium

The bright, simple, and modern Premium double rooms are somewhat more spacious and offer the option of two double beds or a king-size bed and also have city views (approx. 45 m², PDZ).

Suite

The generously laid-out elegant suites offer a cozy sleeping area with a double bed and a sofa bed, as well as additional seating. The bathroom provides a rainfall shower and a whirlpool bathtub. Suite Panoramic View

Located on the higher floors, the Panoramic Suite offers a beautiful panoramic view as well as a spacious room with a king-size bed and a bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub and walk-in shower. In total, these are even more spacious and also include access to the Club Intercontinental (approx. 100m², S2U).

Club Suite

The Club Suites, featuring modern design, are equipped with a king-size bed, sofa bed, and seating area. The bathroom has a whirlpool bathtub, rainfall shower, and toilet. There is also balcony seating with city views, internet, air conditioning, smart TV, coffee/tea making facilities, and access to the Club Intercontinental (approx. 60m², C2S).

Grand Suite

The elegant Grand Suite, with warm and cozy colors, exudes a luxurious ambiance and features two king-size beds, a living area with a sofa bed, an en-suite bathroom with shower/WC, as well as a separate smaller bathroom. The Grand Suite also offers access to the Club Intercontinental (approx. 80m², GR2).
