Location

The upscale InterContinental Malta is centrally located on the island in St. Julian's, approximately 150 m from its private sandy beach. The town center with its entertainment and shopping facilities is about 1 km away. Further shops, bars, and restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. Excursions to the capital Valletta (approx. 8 km) or to the inland town of Mdina (approx. 13 km) are also worthwhile. Malta International Airport (MLA) is approximately 9 km away.

Facilities

The hotel, last partially renovated in 2020, has 19 floors and features a total of 481 modern and elegantly furnished rooms. It is equipped with a 24-hour reception, a lobby, 6 elevators, air conditioning, a safe (for a fee), a hairdresser, a shop, parking facilities (for a fee), a security entry system, and a currency exchange service. Delicious meals are served in the "Waterbiscuit" restaurant, and refreshing drinks can be enjoyed in the "Opal Lounge" or at the "Narcis" pool bar. A special highlight is the "Skybeach" rooftop infinity pool with breathtaking island views (open May-October, available for a surcharge, see Sports for a fee section). A gym and a spa area are available for active training or relaxing treatments. Free Wi-Fi is available for guests to stay connected.

Club Room Type A

These rooms are equipped with a double bed or twin beds, carpeted floors, heating and air conditioning (centrally controlled), kettle (free of charge), espresso coffee machine, minibar (for a fee), balcony, internet, safe (free of charge), and flat-screen satellite TV. Access to the Club Lounge is included (approx. 35m², CTA).

Double Room

The modern double rooms offer a nice city view and have otherwise similar amenities and size to the Club rooms (D/DE). Double rooms with garden view are also available (2GD/1GD).

Double Room Premium

The bright, simply and modernly furnished Double Rooms Premium are slightly more spacious and offer two double beds or one king-size bed as sleeping accommodation, also with a city view (approx. 45 sqm, PDZ).

Suite

The generously proportioned, elegant suites offer a cozy sleeping area with a double bed and a sofa bed, as well as additional seating. The bathroom features a rain shower and a whirlpool bathtub. Additionally, there are coffee/tea making facilities, a furnished balcony, and a beautiful view over the city. Access to the Club Intercontinental is included (approx. 63m², S2).

Suite Panoramic View

Located on the higher floors, the Panoramic Suite offers a wonderful panoramic view and a spacious room with a king-size bed and a bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub and walk-in shower. These suites are even more spacious and also include access to the Club Intercontinental (approx. 100m², S2U).

Club Suite

The Club Suites, furnished in a modern design, feature a king-size bed, a sofa bed, and a seating area. The bathroom has a whirlpool bathtub, rain shower, and toilet. Additionally, there is seating on the balcony with a city view, internet, air conditioning, Smart TV, coffee/tea making facilities, and access to the Club Intercontinental (approx. 60m², C2S).

Grand Suite

The elegant Grand Suite, with warm and cozy color tones, exudes a luxurious ambiance and features two king-size beds, a living area with a sofa bed, an en-suite bathroom with shower/toilet, and a separate smaller bathroom. The Grand Suite also offers access to the Club Intercontinental (approx. 80m², GR2).
