Location

The Valamar Tamaris Resort is situated on the Lanterna peninsula, approx. 13 km from Porec. During the summer season, bus and boat connections to the town of Porec are available daily. The sea with its pebble, rocky, and sandy beach as well as bathing plateaus (sun loungers and umbrellas available for a fee) is approx. 100 m away.

Facilities

The resort features 313 rooms spread across four floors with two elevators in the main building, as well as 108 suites and villas in the annexes Casa Agava, Casa Palma, and Tamaris Villas. Facilities include a lobby with reception, hotel restaurant, à-la-carte restaurant on the beach (June–September), Istrian Tavern (June–September), pool and lobby bar each with a terrace, and a freshwater swimming pool with water effects and a water slide; sun loungers, parasols, towels, and showers are included here. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel free of charge.

Superior Family Room

The Superior Family Rooms are located in the Club Tamaris area and consist of two Superior double rooms with a connecting door and balcony (F2U). Also bookable facing the sea (2FA).

Junior Family Suite

The Junior Family Suites, approx. 40-42 m², are also located in Club Tamaris and offer a double room with single beds, a living room with a sofa bed, 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub, one with a shower), hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, safe, smoke detector, direct-dial telephone, Wi-Fi, LCD satellite TV with children's program, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony (FJ2).

Family Suite

The Family Suites, approx. 36-38 m², are located in the annexes Casa Agava (2FS) and Casa Palma (SF2) and consist of a bedroom as well as a separate children's room with a bunk bed and a living room. They are equipped with a shower or bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, safe, smoke detector, direct-dial telephone, Wi-Fi, LCD satellite TV with children's program, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony.

Superior Family Suite

The Superior Family Suites, approx. 38-40 m², are located in the annexes Casa Agava (2F1) and Casa Palma (2FF) and consist of a bedroom and a living room. Grand Family Suite

The Large Palma Family Suite in the Casa Palma area, approx. 62 m², features two bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed and one children's room), a living room with a pull-out sofa bed, 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub, one with a shower), hairdryer, coffee/tea maker, air conditioning/heating, safe, smoke detector, direct-dial telephone, Wi-Fi, LCD satellite TV with children's program, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony or terrace with a seating area (ASF).

Superior Double Room

The rooms are located in the Club Tamaris main building and are equipped with a bathtub or shower/WC, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, hairdryer, Wi-Fi (free of charge), minibar (for a fee), safe, and a balcony (DSU/DSR). Also bookable for single use with a balcony (ESU) or facing the sea (SMS).

Classic Villa

The Classic Villas, approx. 55 m², are located in the Tamaris Villas annex and feature 2 bedrooms and a living room with a sofa as well as 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub and one with a shower). They are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-fridge, kitchenette with kettle, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a terrace or balcony, and face the sea (V2).

Premium Villa

The Premium Villas, approx. 55 m², are also located in the Tamaris Villas annex and feature one bedroom and a living room with a sofa as well as a bathroom with a bathtub. They are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-fridge, kitchenette with kettle, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a terrace, and face the sea (2VP).

Superior Villa

The Superior Villas, approx. 55 m², are located in the Tamaris Villas annex and feature 2 bedrooms (one with two single beds and one with a queen-size bed) and a living room with a sofa as well as one bathroom. They are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-fridge, kitchenette with kettle, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a terrace, and face the sea (VSU).

Luxury Villa

The luxury villas in the Tamaris Luxury Villas area, approx. 110 m², feature three bedrooms (one bedroom with a queen-size bed, 2 bedrooms each with single beds), a living room with a sofa, two bathrooms with a bathtub, a kitchen with dishes, microwave, dishwasher, and mini-fridge, as well as a private swimming pool. Further amenities include air conditioning, satellite TV, wardrobe, and a safe. The detached villas have their own parking space and a reserved spot on the beach (2DV).

Rich breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet in the Mediterraneo Restaurant. Regular theme nights such as Istrian, Croatian, Mediterranean, or Burger Night during the dinner buffet. Drinks from the drink station as well as local wine and local beer, water, and non-alcoholic soft drinks are included with lunch and dinner. Selected light snacks and drinks are also included during the day at the "Istrian Tavern".
Maro Club: For children up to 12 years, refreshments from the vending machines at the bar as well as ice cream are included during the day.

Maro Baby (0-3 years): Lounge area to relax with parents and Maro Baby Room.
Maro Club (3-7 years and 7-12 years): Children's room with various activities and entertainment programs. The Maro Club is open 4 hours per day, and 6 hours in high season.
