Location

The Valamar Tamaris Resort is located on the Lanterna peninsula, approx. 13 km from Porec. During the summer season, daily bus and boat connections to the town of Porec are available. The sea with its pebble, rocky, and sandy beach as well as bathing platforms (sunbeds and umbrellas for a fee) is approx. 100 m away.

Facilities

The resort features 313 rooms across four floors with two elevators in the main building, as well as 108 suites and villas in the annex buildings Casa Agava, Casa Palma, and Tamaris Villas. Facilities include a lobby with a reception, a hotel restaurant, an à-la-carte restaurant on the beach (June–September), an Istrian tavern (June–September), and pool and lobby bars, each with a terrace. There is a freshwater swimming pool with water features and a water slide, where sunbeds, umbrellas, towels, and showers are included. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Accommodation

Superior Family Room

The Superior family rooms are located in the Club Tamaris area and consist of two Superior double rooms with an interconnecting door and a balcony (F2U). Can also be booked facing the sea (2FA).

Junior Family Suite

The approx. 40–42 m² Junior family suites are also located in the Club Tamaris and offer a double room with single beds, a living room with a sofa bed, 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub, one with a shower), a hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, a safe, a smoke detector, direct-dial telephone, Wi-Fi, LCD satellite TV with children's program, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony (FJ2).

Family Suite

The approx. 36–38 m² family suites are located in the annex buildings Casa Agava (2FS) and Casa Palma (SF2) and consist of a bedroom as well as a separate children's room with a bunk bed and a living room. They are equipped with a shower or bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, safe, smoke detector, direct-dial telephone, Wi-Fi, LCD satellite TV with children's program, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony.

Superior Family Suite

The approx. 38–40 m² Superior family suites are located in the annex buildings Casa Agava (2F1) and Casa Palma (2FF) and consist of a bedroom and a living room; they are equipped with a shower or bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, safe, smoke detector, direct-dial telephone, Wi-Fi, LCD satellite TV with children's program, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony.

Grand Family Suite

The approx. 62 m² Grand family suite in the Casa Palma area features two bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed and one children's room), a living room with a pull-out sofa bed, 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub, one with a shower), hairdryer, coffee/tea maker, air conditioning/heating, safe, smoke detector, direct-dial telephone, Wi-Fi, LCD satellite TV with children's program, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony or terrace with a seating area (ASF).

Superior Double Room

The rooms are located in the main building, Club Tamaris, and are equipped with a bathtub or shower/WC, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, hairdryer, Wi-Fi (free of charge), minibar (for a fee), safe, and a balcony (DSU/DSR). Also bookable for single use with a balcony (ESU) or facing the sea (SMS).

Classic Villa

The approx. 55 m² Classic villas are located in the Tamaris Villas annex building and feature 2 bedrooms, a living room with a sofa, and 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub and one with a shower). They are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-fridge, kitchenette with kettle, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a terrace or balcony; they are located on the sea side (V2).

Premium Villa

The approx. 55 m² Premium villas are also located in the Tamaris Villas annex building and feature a bedroom, a living room with a sofa, and a bathroom with a bathtub. They are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-fridge, kitchenette with kettle, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a terrace; they are located on the sea side (2VP).

Superior Villa

The approx. 55 m² Superior villas are located in the Tamaris Villas annex building and feature 2 bedrooms (one with two single beds and one with a queen-size bed), a living room with a sofa, and a bathroom. They are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-fridge, kitchenette with kettle, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a terrace; they are located on the sea side (VSU).

Luxury Villa

The Luxury villas in the Tamaris Luxury Villas area, approx. 110 m², feature three bedrooms (one bedroom with a queen-size bed, 2 bedrooms each with single beds), a living room with a sofa, two bathrooms with bathtubs, a kitchen with dishes, microwave, dishwasher, and mini-fridge, as well as a private swimming pool. Further amenities include air conditioning, satellite TV, a wardrobe, and a safe. The detached villas have their own parking space and a reserved spot on the beach (2DV).

Extensive breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet in the Mediterraneo Restaurant. The dinner buffet features regular themed nights such as Istrian, Croatian, Mediterranean, or Burger night. During lunch and dinner, beverages from the drinks station as well as local wine, local beer, water, and non-alcoholic soft drinks are included. Throughout the day, selected light snacks and drinks at the "Istrian Tavern" are also included.
Maro Club: For children up to 12 years old, refreshing drinks from the drink dispenser at the bar as well as ice cream are included throughout the day.

Children's corner in the restaurant, children's pool, playground, cinema, and a separate playroom from 01.06 to 15.09. From 15.06 to 01.09, Maro Club for various age groups:
Maro Baby (0–3 years): Lounge area to relax with parents and Maro Baby Room.
Maro Club (3–7 years and 7–12 years): Children's room with various activities and entertainment programs. The Maro Club is open for 4 hours per day, 6 hours in the high season.
Teen (12+ years): Teen open-air zone, video games, sports activities (beach volleyball, table tennis, badminton, etc.), evening program such as beach parties, disco, or cinema night. Go-kart or paintball are offered for a fee and only with parents.
