Location

The Valamar Tamaris Resort is located on the Laterna peninsula, approx. 13 km from Porec. During the summer season, daily bus and boat connections to the town of Porec are available. The sea with its pebble, rock, and sand beach and bathing platform (sun loungers and umbrellas available for a fee) is approximately 100 m away.

Facilities

The resort has 313 rooms spread over four floors with two elevators in the main building, as well as 108 suites and villas in the annex buildings Casa Agava, Casa Palma, and Tamaris Villas. Facilities include a reception area with a reception desk, hotel restaurant, à la carte restaurant on the beach (June-September), Istrian Tavern (June-September), pool and lobby bars, each with a terrace, freshwater swimming pool with water effects and a waterslide. Sun loungers, umbrellas, towels, and showers are included here. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Family Room Superior

The Family Rooms Superior are located in the Club Tamaris area and consist of two Superior Double Rooms with a connecting door and a balcony (F2U). Also bookable with sea view (2FA).

Junior Family Suite

The Junior Family Suites, approx. 40-42 sqm, are also located in the Club Tamaris and offer a double room with twin beds, a living room with a sofa bed, 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub, one with a shower), hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, safe, smoke detector, direct dial telephone, Wi-Fi, LCD satellite TV with children's programming, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony (FJ2).

Family Suite

The Family Suites, approx. 36-38 sqm, are located in the annex buildings Casa Agava (2FS) and Casa Palma (SF2) and consist of one bedroom and a separate children's room with a bunk bed and a living room. They are equipped with a shower or bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, safe, smoke detector, direct dial telephone, Wi-Fi, LCD satellite TV with children's programming, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony.

Family Suite Superior

The Family Suites Superior, approx. 38-40 sqm, are located in the annex buildings Casa Agava (2F1) and Casa Palma (2FF) and consist of a bedroom and a living room. Grand Family Suite

The Grand Family Suite Palma in the Casa Palma area, approx. 62 sqm, has two bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed and one children's room), a living room with a pull-out sofa bed, 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub, one with a shower), hairdryer, coffee/tea maker, air conditioning/heating, safe, smoke detector, direct dial telephone, Wi-Fi, LCD satellite TV with children's programming, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony or terrace with a seating area (ASF).

Superior Double Room

The rooms are located in the main building Club Tamaris and are equipped with a bathtub or shower/WC, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, hairdryer, Wi-Fi (free of charge), minibar (for a fee), safe, and a balcony (DSU/DSR). Also available for single occupancy with balcony (ESU) or with sea view (SMS).

Classic Villa

The Classic Villas, approx. 55 sqm, are located in the annex building Tamaris Villas and have 2 bedrooms and a living room with a sofa, as well as 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub and one with a shower). They are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, minirefrigerator, kitchenette with kettle, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a terrace or balcony and are sea-facing (V2).

Premium Villa

The Premium Villas, approx. 55 sqm, are also located in the annex building Tamaris Villas and have one bedroom and a living room with a sofa, as well as a bathroom with a bathtub. They are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, minirefrigerator, kitchenette with kettle, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a terrace and are sea-facing (2VP).

Superior Villa

The Superior Villas, approx. 55 sqm, are located in the annex building Tamaris Villas and have 2 bedrooms (one with two single beds and one with a queen-size bed) and a living room with a sofa, as well as a bathroom. They are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, minirefrigerator, kitchenette with kettle, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a terrace and are sea-facing (VSU).

Luxury Villa

The Luxury Villas in the Tamaris Luxury Villas area, approx. 110 sqm, have three bedrooms (one bedroom with a queen-size bed, 2 bedrooms each with single beds), a living room with a sofa, two bathrooms with bathtubs, a kitchen with dishes, microwave, dishwasher, and minirefrigerator, as well as a private swimming pool. Further amenities include air conditioning, satellite TV, wardrobe, and a safe. The detached villas have their own parking space and a reserved spot on the beach (2DV).

Extensive breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet at the Mediterraneo Restaurant. The dinner buffet features regular themed nights such as Istrian, Croatian, Mediterranean, or Burger night. Drinks from the beverage station, as well as local wine and local beer, water, and soft drinks are included with lunch and dinner. Light snacks and drinks are also available during the day at the "Istrian Tavern."
Maro Club: For children up to 12 years old, soft drinks from the vending machine at the bar and ice cream are included during the day.

Sports for a fee

Maro Baby (0-3 years): Lounge zone for relaxing with parents and Maro Baby Room.
Maro Club (3-7 years and 7-12 years): Children's room with various activities and entertainment programs. The Maro Club is open 4 hours a day, and 6 hours during high season.
Teen (12+ years): Teenager open-air zone, video games, sports activities (beach volleyball, table tennis, badminton, etc.), evening program e.g. beach parties, disco, or movie night. Go-karting or paintball are offered for a fee and only with parents.

Wellness

Turkish bath, Finnish sauna, outdoor whirlpool, relaxation room, and whirlpool are included. Massages and treatments are available at the wellness center for a fee.
