Location

The Hotel Istra, part of the renowned Liburnia Hotel chain, is located directly at the harbor of Opatija and offers a unique view of the Adriatic. Shopping facilities, as well as bars and restaurants, are in the immediate vicinity. The town center of Opatija is about 2.5 km away and can also be reached on foot via the famous Lungomare promenade. Rijeka Airport is approximately 50 minutes away by car.

Amenities

The fully air-conditioned hotel, which was voted the best 3-star hotel in Croatia in 2022, features a total of 171 rooms spread over five floors with a total of three elevators. It offers guests a 24-hour reception, a lobby with a bar, and currency exchange services. The main restaurant and the à-la-carte bistro "Nostromo" (for a fee) take care of culinary needs. You can end an eventful day at the hotel bar. The hotel's own bathing plateau with access to the sea is within walking distance and invites you to sunbathe and relax. Sun loungers and parasols are available at the beach for a fee. Wi-Fi is available to guests free of charge throughout the hotel complex.

Double room

The comfortably furnished double rooms (approx. 13-22 m²) feature two separate beds, each 90 cm x 200 cm, a bathroom or shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, LCD TV, telephone, and Wi-Fi, with a street view and no balcony (D/D1K).
Optionally bookable with sea view, no balcony (DM/D1M).
Additionally bookable as a saver room for specific contingents (SSZ/SS1).

Superior Double room

With otherwise similar amenities to the double rooms, these are slightly more spacious and feature a double bed 200 cm x 200 cm with street view, no balcony (DSU/1DS/DAS).

Superior Double room sea view

With the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, these rooms feature a sea view and balcony (DMU/UKM).

Single room

The small, comfortable single room consists of a single bed, internet, rental safe, flat-screen cable TV, as well as individually adjustable air conditioning (from June to September) and centrally controlled heating. The bathroom provides a shower (approx. 8-10 m², E).
