Location

Hotel Istra, part of the renowned Liburnia Hotel chain, is located directly on the harbor of Opatija, offering a unique view of the Adriatic Sea. Shops, as well as bars and restaurants, are in close proximity. The center of Opatija is about 2.5 km away and can also be reached on foot via the famous Lungomare promenade. Rijeka Airport is about a 50-minute drive away.

Facilities

The fully air-conditioned hotel, which was named Croatia's best 3-star hotel in 2022, has a total of 171 rooms spread over five floors with three elevators. It offers its guests a 24-hour reception, a lobby with a bar, and a currency exchange facility. For your culinary well-being, there is the main restaurant and the à la carte bistro "Nostromo" (for a fee). You can round off an eventful day at the hotel bar. The hotel's own bathing plateau with access to the sea invites you to sunbathe and relax within walking distance. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available at the beach for a fee. Wi-Fi is available free of charge for guests throughout the hotel complex.

The comfortably furnished double rooms, approx. 13-22 sqm, have two separate beds, each 90 cm x 200 cm, a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, LCD TV, telephone, and Wi-Fi with a street view without a balcony (D/D1K).
Optionally bookable with sea view without a balcony (DM/D1M).
Additionally available as economy rooms for specific contingents (SSZ/SS1).

Double room Superior

With otherwise similar amenities to the double rooms, these are slightly more spacious and feature a double bed measuring 200 cm x 200 cm, with a street view and no balcony (DSU/1DS/DAS).

Double room Superior Sea View

With the same amenities as the Double rooms Superior, these rooms feature a sea view and a balcony (DMU/UKM).

Single room

The small, comfortable single room consists of a single bed, internet, rental safe, and flat-screen cable TV, as well as individually adjustable air conditioning (from June to September) and centrally controlled heating. The bathroom has a shower (approx. 8-10 sqm, E).
