The family-run hotel complex Katrin is located just approx. 250 m from the sandy beach of Stalis, separated by a coastal road, and approx. 200 m from the center. The town center of Hersonissos with numerous shopping and entertainment venues is approx. 4 km away, and a local bus stop is approx. 150 m away. Heraklion Airport is approx. 30 km away.

This schauinsland-reisen Original hotel features 118 residential units spread across a main building and several annexes. Amenities include a lobby with 24-hour reception, a lounge, the main bar "Dionissos", and the buffet restaurant "Ambrosia". The outdoor area offers several pool areas, including an activity pool with a separate children's splash pool, as well as a relaxation pool and a hot tub in the adult-only area. In addition, the pool bars "Posidon" and "Sunshine" are available. Further parts of the outdoor area were modernized and newly furnished in summer 2024, and the main bar and main restaurant were also renovated. Bath towels can be rented for a fee. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge at the pool and for a fee at the beach. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel complex free of charge.

These double rooms are located in the annex buildings, have been renovated, and feature a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, Smart TV, telephone, mini-fridge, rental safe, and a newly furnished balcony or terrace (DA).

Double room Superior

The Double rooms Superior are located in the main building and feature a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, Smart TV, telephone, mini-fridge, rental safe, and a newly furnished balcony or terrace (DSU/SSX).
Can be booked for single use (DSE/DAE) or as a Superior economy room (2US).

Double room Superior Whirlpool

With otherwise the same equipment as the Superior double rooms, these have been renovated, are located in the annex buildings, and additionally feature a ceiling fan and a whirlpool (J2N).
The whirlpool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We request cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased potential danger for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, schauinsland-reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Family room

These are predominantly located in the annex buildings, are renovated, and feature a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, two Smart TVs, telephone, mini-fridge, rental safe, combined living/sleeping area (open plan) with an additional bunk bed, and a newly furnished balcony or terrace (DF2/JSF).

Junior Suite schauinsland-reisen

These are located in the annex buildings, are renovated, identically equipped as the family rooms, and feature a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, two Smart TVs, telephone, mini-fridge, rental safe, combined living/sleeping area (open plan) with an additional bunk bed, and a newly furnished balcony or terrace (JL2/JSF).

Family suite

They are located in the annex buildings, are renovated, and, with otherwise the same features as the family rooms, are more spacious with two Smart TVs, ceiling fan, and an additional separate bedroom with a bunk bed (2FS/2ZA).

Suite schauinsland-reisen

They are located in the annex buildings, are renovated, identically equipped as the family suites, and, with otherwise the same features as the family rooms, are more spacious with two Smart TVs, ceiling fan, and an additional separate bedroom with a bunk bed (2SI/2ZA).

Family suite Superior

The Family suite Superior offers the same features and size as the Family suite, with sleeping accommodations for up to three people in the separate bedroom (2FF).

Breakfast (7:30-10 a.m.), lunch (12:30-2:30 p.m.), and dinner (6:30-9:30 p.m.) in buffet form, snacks during the day (11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.), ice cream for children only (12-3:30 p.m.), and coffee/tea and pastries (4-5 p.m.). Soft drinks, beer, and table wine are included with meals. Local non-alcoholic drinks as well as selected local alcoholic drinks (beer, wine, ouzo, brandy, and raki) are included at the respective open bar from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. From 6-11 p.m., local vodka, gin, whiskey, rum, and tequila are also included. Additionally, the cocktail of the day is included from 9-10 p.m.

Note Climate Resilience Fee

For stays starting from Jan 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
