Location

The Enorme Santanna Island truly lives up to its name, being a true island of tranquility. The hotel is located in Sissi, just approx. 300 metres from the nearest beach, offering spectacular views of the Cretan Sea. The charming village centre with its restaurants and bars is only about 200 m away. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approx. 40 km.

The hotel, newly built for Summer 2024 and expanded in Summer 2025 with the former Sissi Bay hotel (this section is being renovated), is an ideal retreat for those seeking relaxation. Its modern design, inspired by nature, and attentive service create a relaxed atmosphere. In addition to a total of 300 rooms, the hotel features an entrance area with a 24-hour reception, luggage room, elevator, Wi-Fi (included in public areas), main restaurant, à la carte restaurants, lobby bar, snack bar, as well as a sushi bar and a mini-market. The beautiful outdoor area of the complex boasts a total of 3 freshwater swimming pools with 2 pool bars, sun terraces, and comfortable sun loungers. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available at the beach for a fee (through a local provider), and a free shuttle transfer to the beach is also offered. Furthermore, there is free parking available (subject to availability).

The Premium All Inclusive at Enorme Santanna Island includes an excellent selection of food and drinks.
The Sunset Buffet Restaurant, with its inviting atmosphere, is open daily and offers a rich variety of dishes with international specialties and colourful theme nights.
From 5:00 AM to 7:30 AM, there is a continental breakfast, from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, a large breakfast buffet is available, and from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, a late riser's breakfast.
Lunch is served buffet-style from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
The dinner buffet is available from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. A late-night buffet is available from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM.
"Brunch&Co," located on the first floor with sea views, offers a mix of delicious favourites and healthy options from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including fresh salads, avocado toast, smoothie bowls, and plant-based options. From creamy Eggs Benedict to healthy muesli and refreshing juices, every dish is prepared with care.
From 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM, a variety of sweet and savoury snacks and a colourful selection of drinks are available at the pool bar.
In the evening, from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM, the three à la carte restaurants open, reservations are required in advance. Choose from Cretan cuisine at "Veggera Cretan Cuisine," Italian specialties at "Trattoria Bella," or Asian fusion cuisine at "Umika Asian Fusion."
From 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, coffee specialities from around the world are available at "Roasta Coffee House."
Throughout the day, the mysterious pop-up crêperie opens for approximately 6 hours, surprisingly appearing by the pool when you least expect it. Like a ghost that appears just when you crave something sweet, Nutteleria serves freshly prepared crêpes.
In the evening from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM, meet at the Aperol Spot, a lively bar under a spacious orange pavilion, always buzzing with atmosphere for a perfect pre-dinner aperitivo.
The extensive beverage selection includes water, soft drinks, juices, iced tea, and coffee variations, as well as local beer and wines, sparkling wine, aperitifs, liqueurs, vodka, gin, rum, tequila, and whiskey. Additionally, a variety of cocktail variations and mocktails at the different bars provide refreshing variety.

Information on climate resilience levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 € per day and room from 01.01.2025.
For stays in high season (April 1st - October 31st):
