Location

The hotel complex is located in Rethymnon and is separated from the Blue Flag-awarded sand/pebble beach only by a small coastal road. The town center, with its numerous restaurants, shopping, and entertainment options, is approximately 2.2 km away. The distance to Heraklion airport is approx. 75 km, and to Chania airport is approx. 65 km.

The outdoor area features 2 freshwater swimming pools with integrated children's pools, a sun terrace, and the "Sunset Bar". Double Room

The high-quality furnished rooms feature a bath or shower/WC (mostly open-plan bathroom with washbasin in the room), hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, air conditioning/heating (included), telephone, satellite TV, mini-fridge (2 bottles of water included upon arrival), coffee/tea maker, Nespresso machine, safe, Wi-Fi (included), and a furnished balcony or terrace (D/DI/DA).
Also available for single use (DE), with a side sea view (DMS/DIS), or with pool view (PD).

Double Room Deluxe Private Pool

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these feature a private pool and sea-facing views (PPZ).
The private pool is not supervised. We request prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential danger for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types for children.

Maisonette

With the same features as the double rooms, these include an additional bathroom and a separate bedroom in an open maisonette style (M2). Also available with sea view for an additional charge (2M).

Suite Sea View

These very spacious suites, featuring the same amenities as the double rooms, offer a bathtub with hydro-massage, a separate shower, and a large balcony with sea view (S2M).

Meals

Half board or Full board

Breakfast (7:30-10 a.m./late riser breakfast 10-11 a.m. (continental)) and dinner (6:30-9 p.m.) served buffet-style. For full board, lunch (12-3:30 p.m.) is additionally included at the snack bar.
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner (no swimwear, etc.).

Sports included

Water aerobics, gym, table tennis, yoga, aerobics, and Pilates. Guided hike once per week (approx. 6 km).

Sports for a fee

Mountain bike rental and water sports such as a diving center via local providers.

Children's program

2 freshwater children's pools, high chairs, and baby cots (included subject to availability). Babysitting service (on request and for a fee).

Wellness

Indoor pool (heated in April, May, and October) and whirlpool (both located in the sister hotel Pearl Beach and included). For a fee: steam bath, face and body treatments, massages, sauna.

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays from 1/1/2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, as of 1/1/2025, is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
For stays in high season 1/4-31/10:
