Location

The hotel complex is located in Rethymnon and is separated from the Blue Flag awarded sandy/pebble beach only by a small coastal road. The town center with numerous restaurants, shops, and entertainment facilities is approximately 2.2 km away. The distance to Heraklion Airport is about 75 km and to Chania Airport about 65 km.

The luxurious Aegean Pearl Hotel has a total of 112 rooms, spread across 2 buildings with a 24-hour reception, Wi-Fi (included), lounge, elevator, TV room, main restaurant with terrace, an à la carte restaurant, bar, indoor pool, and jeweler. The outdoor area features 2 freshwater swimming pools with an integrated children's pool, sun terrace, and the "Sunset Bar". Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are available free of charge for guests by the pool and on the beach. Parking spaces at the hotel are included, subject to availability.

The high-quality furnished rooms have a bathroom or shower/WC (mostly an open-plan bathroom with a sink in the room), hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, air conditioning/heating (included), telephone, satellite TV, mini-fridge (2 bottles of water included upon arrival), coffee/tea maker, Nespresso machine, safe, Wi-Fi (included), and a furnished balcony or terrace (D/DI/DA).
Also available as a single occupancy room (DE), with a side sea view (DMS/DIS), or with a pool view (PD) at an additional charge.

Double Room Deluxe Private Pool

In addition to the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms feature a private pool and a sea view (PPZ).
The private pool is not supervised. Guests are asked to exercise caution and pay particular attention when using this area.

Maisonette

In addition to the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms have an extra bathroom and a separate bedroom in an open maisonette style (M2). Available with sea view for an additional charge (2M).

Sea View Suite

These very spacious suites, with the same amenities as the double rooms, feature a bathtub with hydromassage, a separate shower, and a large balcony with sea view (S2M).

Meals

Half Board or Full Board

Breakfast (7:30 AM - 10:00 AM / Late riser breakfast 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM (continental)) and dinner (6:30 PM - 9:00 PM) served buffet style. With full board, lunch (12:00 PM - 3:30 PM) at the snack bar is also included.
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner (no swimwear, etc.).

Sports included

Water aerobics, fitness room, table tennis, yoga, aerobics, and Pilates. Once a week, a guided hike (approx. 6 km).

Sports for a fee

Mountain bike rental and water sports such as diving center through local providers.

Children's program

2 freshwater children's pools, high chairs and baby cots (included, subject to availability). Babysitter service (on request and for a fee).

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018 onwards, the Greek government has implemented a climate resilience fee, which is payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from €0.50 to €15 per day per room starting from January 1, 2025.
