Location

The Rethymno Beach Hotel is located directly on the pebble beach in Stavromenos. The center of Rethymnon is approx. 11 km away, Heraklion Airport approx. 72 km, and Chania Airport approx. 77 km.

Facilities

The family-friendly complex has 150 rooms spread across a main building and 5 annex buildings, offering a 24-hour reception, lobby, lounge, Wi-Fi (free throughout the complex), a main restaurant, and a main bar. The well-maintained outdoor area features a swimming pool with a children's pool, sun terrace, and a pool bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and on the beach. Bath towels are available for a deposit. Parking is available on-site, subject to availability.

Double Room

The beautifully designed rooms feature a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, telephone (for a fee), Wi-Fi, individually adjustable air conditioning, mini-fridge, safe, coffee/tea maker, 32" flatscreen satellite TV, and a balcony or terrace (D). A bottle of water is provided upon arrival. Can also be booked for single occupancy (DE).

Double Room Side Sea View

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms offer a side sea view (DMS). Also available for single occupancy (DES).

Double Room Direct Sea View

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms offer a direct sea view (DM). Also available for single occupancy (DEM).

Breakfast (7:30-10 am), lunch (12:30-2:30 pm), and dinner (7-9:30 pm) are served buffet-style.

From 10 am to 6 pm, the pool bar offers various snacks such as sandwiches, salads, and fruits.
In the afternoon, coffee/tea and pastries are served from 4:30 pm to 6 pm.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (water, soft drinks, fruit juices, coffee/tea, draft beer, house wine, ouzo, liqueur, brandy) are included from 10 am to 11 pm. From 6 pm onwards, whiskey, gin, vodka, tequila, and rum are also available.

Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience levy to be paid by guests locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount varies depending on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from €0.50 to €15 per day per room starting January 1, 2025.
For stays during the high season (April 1 - October 31):

Accommodation category 3 stars: €5
Accommodation category 4 stars: €10
