Location

The modern "BIO Suites" hotel is located in Rethymnon, approximately 600 m from the historic center surrounding the Fortezza fortress. Numerous shops, restaurants, and cafés are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The beautiful, long sandy beach is only approx. 50 m away, and a private beach section is just approx. 200 m from the hotel. Chania Airport is approx. 69 km away, and Heraklion Airport is about 84 km away.

The hotel features a total of 146 renovated accommodations, a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a lounge area with seating and satellite TV, Wi-Fi, an internet corner, 3 elevators, a luggage room, a bar, and a restaurant. In the beautiful outdoor area, there is a freshwater swimming pool, a children's pool, and a sun terrace. A pool/snackbar is available in the pool area. Towels for the pool area are provided by the hotel. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and the nearby private beach section.

Studio Superior

The tastefully furnished rooms feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, a safe, individually adjustable air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), a combined living/sleeping area with a kitchenette (refrigerator, hot plates, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster), a coffee/tea station (replenished daily), and a balcony or terrace. Upon arrival, a bottle of water, a bottle of wine, and a welcome basket (U2S).
Available to book either with breakfast only (2AT) or with Half Board Plus (BU2), and for single use (U1S).

Appartement Superior

With the same amenities as the Superior Studios, these apartments additionally feature a separate bedroom (A2U/2IA).
Can be booked optionally with breakfast (R2A, Superior Apartment Type A) or Half Board Plus (UA2, Superior Apartment Type B). Alternatively, the apartments are available for single use (A1U).

Apartment 2 Bedrooms

Same as the apartments, but with two bedrooms and pool view (A22).

Meals

Breakfast/Half Board/Half Board Plus

Breakfast buffet. For Half Board, dinner is also served as a rich buffet. The kitchen primarily uses local olive oil.
With Half Board Plus, drinks (draft beer, red or white wine, soft drinks, juices, and water) are also included with meals.
Appropriate attire is requested in the restaurant.

All inclusive

Breakfast buffet from 7:30-10:30 a.m., lunch buffet (1-3 p.m.), and dinner buffet (6:15-9:15 p.m.). During meals (lunch and dinner), guests can enjoy unlimited house wine, draft beer, soft drinks, and water. Snacks and cake are available at the hotel bar from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and from 3-4 p.m. Ice cream is also available in the afternoon from 3-4 p.m.
From 10 a.m.-11 p.m., non-alcoholic drinks such as soft drinks, water, juices, coffee (Greek coffee, filter coffee, iced coffee, espresso, cappuccino), as well as alcoholic beverages such as draft beer, house wine (red, white, and rosé), local spirits (Raki, Brandy, Ouzo), and international drinks (vodka, gin, rum, tequila, whiskey, vermouth, aperitifs, liqueurs, long drinks, selected cocktails) are included at the bar.

Destination information

For stays starting from Jan 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is staggered from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room as of Jan 1, 2025.
