The city hotel Theartemis Palace is located just 200 meters from the long sandy beach of Rethymnon and only a 15-minute walk from the historic city center with its beautiful alleys and harbor. Heraklion Airport is approx. 80 km away and Chania Airport is approx. 68 km away.

This comfortable hotel with a total of 249 rooms features a lobby with a 24-hour reception, luggage storage, elevator, lounge with terrace, main restaurant (renovated in 2025), à-la-carte restaurant, lobby bar, and snack bar. In addition, there is a jeweler, a beauty shop, children's play area, fitness room, and an external spa area. The outdoor area of the complex features a sun terrace with two freshwater swimming pools with integrated children's pools, sun loungers, and sun umbrellas, as well as a pool/snack bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach (provided by external suppliers). Pool towels are included.
Wi-Fi is included in public areas and in the rooms.

Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types.

Family room

With the same facilities as the double rooms, these feature a shower/WC and consist of one bedroom with a double bed or two twin beds and a living/bedroom area with two sofa beds (DF2).

Family Suite Premium

The family suites on the first floor of the main building offer, in addition to standard equipment, two separate rooms, an espresso machine, as well as bathrobes and slippers. The spacious terrace invites you to relax with sun loungers and a whirlpool (2FS).

Climate Resilience Fee
