Located directly on the 500m long sand/pebble beach of Adele near Rethymnon. Shopping and entertainment options are located in the immediate vicinity.
A bus stop is right in front of the hotel.
It is approx. 7 km to Rethymnon, approx. 68 km to Chania airport, and approx. 80 km to Heraklion airport.

The family-friendly complex has 519 rooms spread across several buildings and offers a 24-hour reception, luggage room, lobby with outdoor terrace, internet corner, main restaurant with outdoor terrace, Greek restaurant "Mournies", gourmet à-la-carte restaurant "Archaia Eleftherna", fish restaurant "Oceana", main bar, mini market, jeweler, souvenir shop, and a boutique. Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire complex.
In the well-kept outdoor area, there are 4 swimming pools, sun terraces, a pool and beach bar "Oceana", Kafenion, "Rimondo" café/snackbar, as well as an amphitheater. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool. Bath towels are also included.
In May 2025, the Aquila Aqua Park also opened with a children's pool, spray action pool, five water slides, and a relaxation pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge. For an additional fee, gazebos can be rented in the adults-only quiet area. Use of the water park is possible for hotel guests at no extra charge.
On the beach directly in front of the hotel, sun loungers and umbrellas are also available free of charge; an exclusive beach area with gazebos is available for a fee.

Junior Bungalow Suite Waterfront (Mythica)

The private pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential danger for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Note on climate resilience tax

For stays from Jan 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience tax, which is payable by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
