Location

The friendly hotel complex belongs to the "Minos Collection" and is centrally located on the outskirts of Rethymnon. The sand/pebble beach is about 150m away. Various shopping and entertainment facilities are within approx. 100m, and the old town can be reached in 15-20 minutes on foot. The nearest bus stop is about 30m away, Heraklion Airport is approx. 80km, and Chania Airport is approx. 72km away.

Facilities

The well-maintained Hotel Minos, with its courteous and experienced staff, has a total of 174 rooms, a lobby with a 24-hour reception, Wi-Fi, an air-conditioned restaurant, and a bar with a terrace. Outdoors, there are two freshwater swimming pools, one of which is an adults-only pool, a children's pool, sun terraces, and a pool/snack bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and available at the beach for a fee. Beach/pool towels are available for a deposit.

Double Room

Equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, 40" satellite TV, air conditioning, safe, telephone, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, minibar (on request, for a fee), tea/coffee station with daily refill, and balcony or terrace (D/DI). Double Room Superior

With the same amenities as the Double Room, including shower/WC, bathrobes and slippers, as well as a fruit basket and wine upon arrival (DSU/DAS/DSI). Also available for single occupancy (DSE).

Double Room Deluxe

With the same amenities as the Double Room, featuring a bathroom with shower/WC, bathrobes, slippers, a pillow menu, tablet (for a deposit), a fruit basket, and wine upon arrival. It also offers an additional sleeping option and is more spacious (DD2). Available for single occupancy (DD1) or for an extra charge with a pool view and additional amenities (turndown service and down duvets) (DPB).

Junior Suite Superior

With the same amenities as the Double Room Deluxe, featuring a combined living/sleeping area. It also includes a welcome package with fruit and sparkling wine, a minibar (weekly refill with non-alcoholic drinks), and beach towels (JU2).

Breakfast/Half Board/All Inclusive

Breakfast buffet with show cooking at Ambrosia restaurant from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, sparkling wine brunch every Sunday. If half board is booked, dinner is also included as a buffet with show cooking at Ambrosia restaurant from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner.

All Inclusive

Breakfast buffet with show cooking at Ambrosia restaurant from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, sparkling wine brunch every Sunday. An early continental breakfast is available between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM with prior reservation. Lunch is served as a set menu or buffet (depending on the number of guests) from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
Dinner is served as a buffet with show cooking at Ambrosia restaurant (6:30 PM to 9:30 PM).
Drinks at the bars (10:30 AM to 12:00 AM, last order at 11:00 PM): cold and hot beverages, soft drinks, juices, draft beer, selected branded alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, selected cocktails, and spirits.
During the day, cold and hot snacks (11:00 AM to 4:00 PM) and biscuits, cakes, and waffles (4:00 PM to 6:00 PM) are available.
For late arrivals (after 9:00 PM), cold meals are served. Lunch and dinner include complimentary mineral water, branded soft drinks, draft beer, and local wine. Vegetarian dishes are available. A dress code applies for dinner. Free participation in one gala or barbecue dinner per week (reservation required).

Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, as of 01.01.2025, is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
For stays during the high season from April 1st to October 31st:
