Location

The modern "Grecotel Plaza Beach House" in Rethymnon is separated from the Blue Flag awarded sandy/pebble beach by a quiet coastal road. The harbor and old town with shopping and entertainment facilities are approx. 3 km from the hotel. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approx. 80 km and to Chania Airport approx. 71 km.

Facilities

The stylish hotel complex has 84 studios and apartments and offers guests a reception hall with reception, lobby, lobby bar, a main restaurant, an à la carte restaurant, and a bar. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the complex. In the outdoor area, there is a freshwater pool with sea view and another freshwater pool, as well as a freshwater paddling pool for children. An ice cream kiosk and a traditional patisserie complete the offer. Sunshades and loungers are included on the sun terraces in the outdoor area and on the beach.

Plaza Studio Sea View

The studios, decorated in a bohemian style, have double beds and a single bed for the third person, bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, kitchenette, safe, TV, water upon arrival, and a furnished balcony or terrace with sea view (PLM). The studios are open-plan, either in a maisonette style or on one level. The maisonettes have a bedroom on the upper level and a living area with kitchenette and bathroom on the lower level.

Superior Plaza Apartment

The spacious apartments are located on the ground floor or the first floor and have a combined living/sleeping area with a sofa bed, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom or shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, TV, water upon arrival, and a furnished balcony or terrace (PLA). Optionally, also bookable with sea view (APM/AMI).

Petit Loft Maisonette

The maisonettes are duplex, more spacious with bunk beds, and have a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, kitchenette, safe, TV, water upon arrival, and a furnished balcony or terrace (PLB). Optionally, also bookable as a more spacious Master Loft Maisonette (MLE).

Loft 2 Bedroom Maisonette

The lofts consist of a living room with kitchenette, two bedrooms, two showers/WC, are designed in maisonette style, and have a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, kitchenette, safe, TV, water upon arrival, and a furnished balcony or terrace (LOM/2IA).

Plaza Grande Apartment

The apartments have the same amenities as the 2-bedroom lofts, but are not necessarily designed in maisonette style (PLC/2IA).

Family Apartment

The family apartments are located on the ground floor or the first floor, consisting of a combined living/sleeping area with bunk beds and a separate bedroom with a double bed. The rooms have a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, kitchenette, safe, TV, water upon arrival, and a furnished balcony or terrace with garden view (APF).

Family Apartment Sharing Pool

The Family Apartments Sharing Pool have the same amenities as the family apartments and access to a shared pool (2AF).
The shared pool is not supervised. Please pay particular attention to your children when using this area and behave responsibly.

Meals

Breakfast/Half Board

A varied breakfast buffet awaits you. A late continental breakfast is available. An early breakfast service and in-room breakfast service are available on request.
Half board bookings include dinner at the "House Kitchen Restaurant".

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience tax, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
