Location

The modern Lumo Boutique Suites hotel is located in the tranquil town of Plakias, in the south of Crete. The public beach is approximately 50m away, the town centre is 300 m away, and the first tavernas and a mini-market are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. A bus stop is 350 m away. Chania Airport is approx. 95 km away and Heraklion Airport is approx. 114 km away.

Facilities

The hotel, newly built for summer 2025, features a main building with 10 rooms spread over 3 floors. The reception is staffed from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. On the roof terrace, which offers magnificent views over the town and out to the sea, there is a pool with a sun deck and a roof top bar. Sun loungers at the pool can be used free of charge.

Accommodation

Junior Suite Outdoor Whirlpool

The spacious junior suites feature a shower/WC, toiletries, hairdryer, air conditioning, fan, safe, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, mini-fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, and a balcony with a private whirlpool (JJW).
The whirlpool is not monitored by a lifeguard. Guests are asked to behave prudently and pay special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for young children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Suite Superior

The Superior suites are more spacious and, with the same facilities as the junior suites, additionally feature a sofa bed (SU2, without whirlpool).

Suite 1 Bedroom

The suites offer a separate bedroom with 2 sofa beds while maintaining the same amenities as the Superior Suite (S2).
