Location

The modern hotel Lumo Boutique Suites is located in the tranquil village of Plakias, in the south of Crete. The public beach is approximately 50 m away, the town center is 300 m away, and the first taverns and a mini-market are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. A bus stop is located 350 m away. Chania Airport is approx. 95 km away and Heraklion approx. 114 km away.

Facilities

The hotel, newly built for summer 2025, features a main building with 10 rooms spread over 3 floors. The 12-hour reception is staffed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. On the roof terrace, which offers a magnificent view over the village to the sea, there is a pool with a sun deck and a roof top bar. Sun loungers at the pool can be used free of charge. The parking lot can also be used free of charge.

The spacious junior suites feature a shower/WC, toiletries, hairdryer, air conditioning, fan, safe, Smart TV, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station, and a balcony (JS2).

Junior Suite Outdoor Whirlpool

The spacious junior suites feature a shower/WC, toiletries, hairdryer, air conditioning, fan, safe, Smart TV, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station, and a balcony with a private whirlpool (JJW).
The whirlpool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We request that you exercise caution and pay special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased potential risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

Suite Superior

The more spacious Superior suites feature a shower/WC, toiletries, hairdryer, air conditioning, fan, safe, Smart TV, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station, a sofa bed, and a balcony (SU2).

Information on Climate Resilience Fee

For stays from January 1st, 2018, the Greek government imposes a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and, from January 1st, 2025, is graduated from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
For stays in the high season (April 1st - October 31st):

Local category 3 stars: 5 Euros
Local category 4 stars: 10 Euros
Local category 5 stars: 15 Euros
For stays in the low season (November 1st - March 31st):
