Location

The modern Lumo Boutique Suites is located in the tranquil village of Plakias in the south of Crete. It is about 50m to the public beach, the village center is 300m away, and the first tavernas and a mini-market are in the vicinity of the hotel. A bus stop is 350m away. Chania Airport is approx. 95 km and Heraklion approx. 114 km away.

Facilities

The hotel, newly built for Summer 2025, has a main building with 10 rooms spread over 3 floors. The reception is staffed from 8 AM to 12 PM. The roof terrace with a magnificent view over the village to the sea features a pool with a sun deck and a rooftop bar. Sun loungers by the pool can be used free of charge.

Junior Suite Outdoor Whirlpool

The spacious junior suites have a shower/WC, toiletries, hairdryer, air conditioning, fan, safe, Wi-Fi, smart TV, mini-fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, and a balcony with a private whirlpool (JJW).

Superior Suite

The Superior Suites are more spacious than the Junior Suites with the same amenities and also feature a sofa bed (SU2, without whirlpool).

1 Bedroom Suite

The suites offer, with the same amenities as the Superior Suite, a separate sleeping area with 2 sofa beds (S2).

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in the room (8 AM - 10 AM).

Hotel service

Room cleaning 5 times a week, towel change 2 times a week, and bed linen change 2 times a week.
Pool towels are available for a fee.
A luggage room is available for early arrivals and late departures.
Parking can be used free of charge.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from €0.50 to €15 per day per room from 01.01.2025.
