Location

The modern Hotel Lumo Boutique Suites is located in the tranquil village of Plakais, in the south of Crete. The public beach is about 50m away, the village center is 300m away, and the first tavernas and a mini-market are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. A bus stop is 350m away. Chania Airport is approx. 95 km and Heraklion approx. 114 km away.

Facilities

The hotel, newly built for Summer 2025, has a main building with 10 rooms spread over 3 floors. The reception is staffed from 8 am to 12 pm. On the roof terrace with a wonderful view over the village to the sea, there is a pool with a sun deck and a rooftop bar. Sun loungers by the pool can be used free of charge.

Junior Suite Outdoor Whirlpool

The spacious junior suites have a shower/WC, toiletries, hairdryer, air conditioning, fan, safe, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, mini-fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, and a balcony with a private whirlpool (JJW).

Suite Superior

The suites Superior are more spacious with the same amenities as the junior suites and additionally have a sofa bed (SU2, without whirlpool).

Suite 1 Bedroom

The suites offer the same amenities as the Suite Superior but with a separate bedroom with 2 sofa beds (S2).

Breakfast is served in the room (8-10 am).

Hotel Service

Room cleaning 5 times a week, towel change 2 times a week, and bed linen change 2 times a week.
Pool towels are available for a fee.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 1.1.2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is staggered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room from 1.1.2025.
