Location

Directly on the coastal road of the village of Plakias and only approx. 20 m from the sandy beach, with a wonderful view of Plakias Bay and the Libyan Sea.
Various shopping and entertainment facilities are within walking distance. A bus stop is located approx. 100 m away. Chania Airport is approx. 97 km and Heraklion approx. 120 km away.

The Alianthos Beach Hotel in Plakias is a small, family-run hotel with 50 rooms spread over two-story buildings. The lobby area resembles a large living room and features a reception (7 am - midnight) with a safe (for a fee), free Wi-Fi, internet corner, satellite TV, and elevator. A restaurant designed in traditional Cretan style with breathtaking views of the sandy beach and Plakias Bay, as well as a beach bar, complete the charm of the family-run hotel complex.
Sun loungers and umbrellas are available on the beach for a fee.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from January 1, 2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 € per day per room.
