Location

The hotel is located in a quiet area on the west side of the small resort of Plakias, separated from the beach only by a small country road. The town center with various shopping and entertainment facilities, bars and restaurants is easily accessible on foot. The hotel is approx. 100 km from Heraklion Airport.

Facilities

The Horizon Beach Hotel has a total of 27 rooms, a lobby with reception, TV corner, Wi-Fi (included), elevator, and a breakfast room with a terrace overlooking the sea. In the outdoor area there is a sun terrace with loungers. Bath towels are available on request at the reception for a deposit. Parking is free at the hotel, subject to availability.

Double room side sea view

The double rooms have a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), refrigerator, rental safe, and a balcony or terrace with a side sea view (DMS). It is also possible to book rooms with a direct sea view for an additional charge (DM/DMI).

Single room

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms and can be booked for single occupancy (DEA). It is also possible to book rooms with a side sea view (DES).

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience tax, which must be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from January 1, 2025.
