Location

The hotel is located in a quiet area on the west side of the small resort of Plakias, separated from the beach by only a small road. The town center with various shops, entertainment options, bars, and restaurants is easily reachable on foot. The hotel is approximately 110 km from Heraklion Airport and about 95 km from Chania Airport.

Facilities

The Horizon Beach Hotel has a total of 27 rooms, a lobby with reception, a TV corner, an elevator, and a breakfast room with a terrace overlooking the sea. In the outdoor area, there is a sun terrace with loungers. Beach towels are available upon request at the reception for a deposit. Parking is available free of charge at the hotel, subject to availability. Wi-Fi is included throughout the hotel.

Double room with side sea view

The double rooms have a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, refrigerator, safety deposit box for rent, and a balcony or terrace with a side sea view (DMS). Optionally, rooms with a direct sea view can also be booked at an additional charge (DM/DMI).

Single room

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms and are available for single occupancy (DEA). Single rooms with a side sea view (DES) are also available.

Note for climate resilience contribution

For stays from January 1, 2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, which must be paid by guests on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
