Location

The hotel "Belvedere Apts & Spa" is located in the holiday area Plakias and is only about 150 m from the sandy beach. Entertainment options such as bars and restaurants are conveniently within walking distance in Plakias. The distance to the airports Heraklion and Chania is 114 km and approx. 96 km respectively. A bus stop can be reached in about 400 m.

Facilities

The modern complex consists of 12 apartments and studios and features a reception with lobby and free Wi-Fi, TV corner, luggage room, supermarket and souvenir shop. In the well-kept outdoor area there are two swimming pools (seasonally heated) with a separate children's pool and terrace. Sun loungers and parasols are included at the pool, available at the beach for a fee.

Junior Suite

The junior suites consist of an open bedroom with seating area and a kitchen, equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, air conditioning, a safe, smart TV, and a balcony or terrace. Toiletries and a beach bag with beach towels are also available. (JS2). Also bookable for single use (JS1).

Superior Apartment

The apartment has the same equipment as the junior suites but includes a separate bedroom (A2U).

2 Bedroom Suite Whirlpool Sea View

With the same equipment as the apartments, these suites feature a second bedroom, a second bathroom, and a whirlpool. Additionally, the suites offer a sea view (Y2J).
The whirlpool is not monitored by a lifeguard. Guests are asked to behave prudently and pay special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children.
Therefore, for bookings of these room types, Schauinsland-Reisen enforces a minimum age of 6 years for children for safety reasons.

Destination information

For stays from 1.1.2018 the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee which must be paid on site by the guest, comparable to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and from 1.1.2025 is staggered between 0.50 EUR and 15 EUR per day and room.
