Location

Located in the heart of Plakias, a beautiful, picturesque village in the south of Rethymno, with a wonderful sandy beach reachable in just 100m, the hotel's location offers the ideal starting point to explore the enchanting Cretan landscapes and the blue waters of the Libyan Sea.
Shops and entertainment facilities are in the immediate vicinity. There is a bus stop near the hotel. Chania Airport is approx. 90 km away, and Heraklion Airport is approx. 110 km away.

The small, family-run 3-star Hotel Sofia with 25 comfortably designed and recently renovated rooms, spread over 2 floors, has a small lobby with reception (7 am-midnight), internet and TV corner, library and free Wi-Fi, as well as a breakfast area, which allows you to start the day ideally with homemade breakfast featuring fresh fruit, omelettes, croissants and many other delicacies prepared fresh daily.
