The elegant The Royal Blue Resort & Spa is located directly on the hotel's own bay with an artificial sand/pebble beach. It is about a 30 to 40-minute walk to the village of Panormo. A bus stop with connections to the small harbor town of Rethymnon, 18 km away, is located approximately 300 m away. Heraklion Airport is approximately 58 km away.

The high-end The Royal Blue Resort & Spa has a total of 187 rooms spread over several annexes, a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a lounge with a terrace, luggage storage, a mini-market, a library, a boutique, and a souvenir/jewelry shop. Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex. Catering is provided by a main restaurant and three à-la-carte restaurants, 4 bars, and a wine cellar. In the outdoor area, there are two swimming pools (one freshwater adults-only pool, one saltwater pool) and a separate children's pool. Sun loungers, parasols, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pool and beach.
An additional pool with slides as well as a heated pool are available at the sister resort, The Royal Senses (subject to seasonality).

The equally luxurious and very spacious villas feature the same amenities as the Luxury Suite Seafront. They are designed in a maisonette style and consist of a bedroom on the upper floor and a living/bedroom on the ground floor. They also include a terrace with sun loungers, a private pool, and a private garden (2VA).

Breakfast/Half Board/Full Board

Breakfast (7:30-11 am) and dinner (6:30-9:30 pm) at the "Symposium" main restaurant in buffet form.
