The elegant resort The Royal Blue Resort & Spa is located directly on the hotel's own bay with an artificial sand/pebble beach. The village of Panormo is about a 30 to 40-minute walk away. A bus stop with connections to the small port town of Rethymnon, 18 km away, is approximately 300 m away. Heraklion Airport is about 58 km away.

The high-quality resort The Royal Blue Resort & Spa has a total of 187 rooms spread across several outbuildings, a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a lounge with a terrace, luggage storage, a mini-market, a library, a boutique, and a souvenir/jewelry shop. Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex. Dining options include a main restaurant and three à la carte restaurants, 4 bars, and a wine cellar. The outdoor area features two swimming pools (one adults-only freshwater pool, one saltwater pool) and a separate children's pool. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.
An additional pool with slides and a heated pool are available at the sister resort The Royal Senses (seasonally dependent).

Superior Double Room

The beautiful and comfortable rooms are located in the room complex on the ground floor or first floor and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, scale, toiletries, bathrobe and slippers, as well as individually adjustable air conditioning (free of charge), telephone, safe, flat-screen satellite TV with music channels, ironing station, Wi-Fi (free of charge), refrigerator, minibar (for a fee, upon request), coffee/tea station and Nespresso coffee machine, and a balcony or terrace with garden view (DSU/DSI).
Alternatively, available at an additional charge with a side sea view (D2S), with a direct sea view (DMU) or sea view (MH2).

Superior Double Room Seafront

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these rooms are located in the first row by the sea and are on the ground floor or first floor (D2W).

Superior Double Room Sharing Pool

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these rooms have access to a shared pool and are located on the ground floor (with sun loungers and umbrella, P2H). Optionally available at an additional charge with sea view (MH2).
The shared pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Therefore, please pay special attention to your children when using this area and behave accordingly.

Family Suite Sea View

The comfortably and luxuriously furnished family suites, with otherwise the same amenities as the double rooms, have a living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom and are located on the first floor (2FM).

Family Suite Private Pool Sea View

With the same amenities as the Family Suites Sea View, these rooms are located on the ground floor and feature a private pool as well as sun loungers and an umbrella (2FV).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Therefore, please pay special attention to your children when using this area and behave accordingly.

Superior Suite Waterfront Sea View

The spacious suites are located in the first row by the sea, on the first floor, and consist of a living/sleeping area, a separate bedroom, and, with the same amenities as the double rooms, a balcony with seating (2SW).

Luxury Suite Seafront Private Pool

The luxurious and spacious suites are located on the ground floor and consist of a living/sleeping area, a separate bedroom, and, with the same amenities as the double rooms, a terrace with sun loungers, umbrellas, and a private pool (2LF).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Therefore, please pay special attention to your children when using this area and behave accordingly.

Luxury Villa Seafront Private Pool

The equally luxurious and very spacious villas, with the same amenities as the Luxury Suite Seafront, are designed in a duplex style and consist of a bedroom on the upper floor and a living/sleeping area on the ground floor. They also feature a terrace with sun loungers, a private pool, and a private garden (2VA).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Therefore, please pay special attention to your children when using this area and behave accordingly.

Meals

Breakfast/Half Board/Full Board

Breakfast (7:30 AM - 11 AM) and dinner (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM) are served in the main restaurant "Symposium" as a buffet.
Lunch (12 PM - 5 PM) is available at the à la carte restaurant "Alati".
Dinner can also be enjoyed at the à la carte restaurants "Elia" (4 days a week) or "Asterias" (6 times a week) (both from 7 PM - 11 PM).
Children's menus, vegetarian dishes, and special dietary meals are available upon request (locally).
Appropriate attire is required for dinner (smart casual, long trousers for gentlemen).

Information on Climate Resilience Fee

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and ranges from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 01.01.2025.
