Location

The small, cozy, and family-run hotel is situated on slightly elevated ground, approx. 300 m from the center of Matala and about 400 m from the beach. Matala is an ideal starting point for exploring the south of Crete with its sights and excavations. Consider a day trip to Agia Galini as well.

The complex was renovated for summer 2025 and features 42 double rooms and 8 family rooms, spread across 3 buildings. Your holiday begins in a modern reception area with a 24-hour reception. A lounge, restaurant, common area, bar, and TV corner are also available. Wi-Fi is included throughout the property. In the beautiful outdoor area, a swimming pool with a sun terrace and a pool bar invite you to relax. Sunbeds and umbrellas are included by the pool and available for a fee at the beach. Beach towels are available for a fee.

The rooms are furnished in Cretan style and feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, safe (included), individually adjustable air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), refrigerator, and a balcony or terrace (DSU/DSI).

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but include bunk beds for the third and fourth persons (DF2).

Note for Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euros per day per room from 01.01.2025.
