The cozy Hotel Elea Terra is located on the quiet outskirts of the beautiful former fishing village of Matala, only approx. 550 m from the beach. The small and family-run hotel has been partially renovated in some areas for Summer 2024. It offers 60 rooms, spread across three buildings, and features a 24-hour reception, lobby, TV lounge, main bar, elevator (in the main building), Wi-Fi (included throughout the complex) and a restaurant. In the well-maintained outdoor area, there is a swimming pool and a newly designed and furnished pool bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool, and available for a fee at the beach.

Double Room Superior Renovated

The modern and spacious rooms were renovated for Summer 2024 and feature a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, full-length mirror, individually adjustable air conditioning (for a fee), ceiling fan, Wi-Fi (included), telephone, coffee/tea maker, rental safe, Smart satellite TV, mini-fridge, iron (on request) and a newly furnished balcony or terrace (DSU/DSI). Also bookable for single use (DSE).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior but are more spacious (JS2).

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
