Location

The Adults-only hotel High Beach White (bookable for guests aged 16 and over) is located directly on the long, gently sloping sandy beach of Malia. Numerous shops, entertainment venues, bars, and clubs are in the immediate vicinity. The center of Malia is approximately 800 m away. Heraklion Airport is approximately 35 km away.

This high-quality hotel is the new Adults-only area (bookable for guests aged 16 and over) of the Hotel High Beach and offers a total of only 18 rooms. It features a reception area with a 24-hour reception, the "Estia" main restaurant with its own Adults-only section, and the "Elia" à la carte restaurant (both located in the High Beach Hotel), providing guests with a luxurious and relaxing vacation. The outdoor area includes a beautiful garden with a freshwater swimming pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach. Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex. Further facilities of the adjacent Hotel High Beach (such as the bars, fitness room, and spa center) can also be used.

Deluxe Double Room

These spacious rooms feature a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, branded toiletries, individually controlled air conditioning, a safe (rental), coffee/tea station with daily replenishment, espresso machine (daily replenishment), mini-fridge, telephone, 55" Smart Satellite TV (including Netflix), high-speed Wi-Fi, USB charging ports, and a balcony. Reserved sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach are included (DD2).
Upon arrival, a welcome package with a bottle of wine, mineral water, a selection of soft drinks, and some snacks will be provided.

White Superior Double Room with Private Pool

Newly built for summer 2025, these rooms offer the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms, plus a private garden with a private pool (heated to 22°C, higher temperatures available upon request and for a fee) and sun loungers (U2P). Additionally, 2 reserved sun loungers with a parasol are provided on the beach.

Deluxe Suite White with Side Sea View or Sea View

These inviting and more spacious rooms consist of a combined living and sleeping area and feature a walk-in shower/WC with a separate hydromassage bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, branded toiletries, individually controlled air conditioning, a safe (rental), coffee/tea station with daily replenishment, espresso machine (daily replenishment), mini-fridge, telephone, 55" Smart Satellite TV (including Netflix), high-speed Wi-Fi, USB charging ports, a furnished balcony, reserved sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach, and either a side sea view or direct sea view (XL2).

Deluxe Suite White Beachfront Sea View

These comfortable suites, with the same amenities as the Deluxe Suite White with Side Sea View or Sea View, are located in the first row to the beach, are significantly more spacious, offer direct access to the garden or spectacular sea views, and feature a private terrace or balcony with a cozy seating area (BSD).

Deluxe Suite White Swim Up

The Deluxe Suite White Swim Up rooms offer direct pool access and garden views instead of sea views, with the same amenities as the Deluxe Suite White with Side Sea View or Sea View (SDU).

Half Board/All Inclusive

Half Board: Breakfast buffet (7:30 AM - 10:30 AM) with show cooking at the "Estia" restaurant. Early bird breakfast from 7:00 AM - 7:30 AM, late riser breakfast from 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM (both at the "Estia" restaurant). A brunch is also offered at the "Elia" à la carte restaurant (10:30 AM - 11:30 AM, reservation required the day before, drinks at a charge).
Dinner is served as a buffet with show cooking and a Cretan corner at the "Estia" restaurant, or as a 5-course menu choice at the "Elia" à la carte restaurant (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM, mid-May to mid-October with reservation 24 hours in advance). Additionally, a 4-course menu at the "Veranda" restaurant is included once per stay.
Vegetarian menus and special diet menus are available (upon prior reservation and possibly at an additional charge).

Dinner is served as a buffet with show cooking and a Cretan corner at the "Estia" restaurant, or as a 5-course menu choice at the "Elia" à la carte restaurant (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM, reservation required 24 hours in advance). Once per stay, dinner is also included as a 4-course menu at the "Veranda" restaurant.
Delicious snacks are available daily from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM at the "Elia" restaurant.

Information on climate resilience contribution

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, which must be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room starting from January 1, 2025.
For stays during the high season (April 1 - October 31):
National category 1-2 stars: 2 Euros
National category 3 stars: 5 Euros
National category 4 stars: 10 Euros
National category 5 stars: 15 Euros
For stays during the low season (November 1 - March 31):
National category 1-2 stars: 0.50 Euros
